Lunch was great! Tastefully decorated establishment, rich decor that sets a comfortable atmosphere. Food was fresh, great ingredients & selection. Service staff is quick, friendly & knowledgeable, Great place for relaxed lunch. Loved it, will come again.
Absolutely loved it! I was a client 37 years ago on park avenue & witnessed how hard this family worked in building this exceptional empire. Today I brought my daughter who is 23 she wanted to go for her birthday lunch & was wowed. St. Leonard to DDO it was worth the drive. Thank you

It is a nice Italian Cafe. I ordered the'Bada Bing' pizza, was very good. Thin crust, cooked properly. Was light, I ate the whole thing. They have'special' iced tea, which is great because I always drink iced tea & theirs isn't as sugary as Fuze or Brisk. I didn't order a dessert, but their capacino was very good.
Parking is in the back, can be a hassle, right at lunch. I parked in the Sami fruits, across the street.
Café Gentile West Island is consistently excellent. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between modern & welcoming - great for a casual coffee, a business meeting, or a relaxed lunch or dinner. The coffee is top-tier, rich & smooth, & you can tell they take pride in every cup.
The food is just as impressive. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, & a menu that offers something for everyone What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff - welcoming, attentive, & so genuine that they make you feel right at home. A perfect blend of modern elegance & heartfelt hospitality. 🇮🇹✨ Café Gentile is a go-to. Highly recommend.
It was meh meaning horrible... nothing special about this place. I can hear the kitchen staff screaming at each other loll.. seems like a jungle. I'd say the worst place I've ever had to come in for lunch. First & last time ever. 0 rating if there was an option.

Great experience - Excellent food & portions were more generous than St. Catherine location (I was disappointed with my last visit).
Had the Steak & Cheese sandwich with a 1/2 portion of Rigatoni Rosé.
Service was outstanding - everybody was friendly from start to end.
Definitely a great spot for lunch of a quick coffee.
The bar area is beautiful. Nice decor overall.
Came for lunch, luca's service was amazing but christian was impeccable! He was so kind & his attention to detail was like no other, people like him really make a place worth coming to !
Went for lunch for the first time, very impressed! Beautiful ambiance, delicious food & all plates coming out & most of all impeccable service! my glass of water was never empty! wish I got out servers name, he was tall, thank you so much! We'll be back soon!!!
The stunning architecture makes Cafe Gentile a fun place to go for brunch, lunch or coffee. However, both coffees that I ordered ( Latte & Cappucino) arrived luke-warm. The food was ok, the service attentive but clearly trying to clear the table fast (Sunday morning). I have had better coffee, but the atmosphere would motivate me to come back.

First time ay Gentile's. Went for a team lunch & had an awesome experience. Bella our waitress was nothing less than amazing & we shared many laughs. The cutlet sandwich ( added marinated eggplant) with a side of arugula salad was DELICIOUS! The pizza so Yummy! & the latte's OMG had to have 2. Will definitely return!
What kind of restaurant runs out of food at 1pm? I wanted to go for lunch & as I arrived, I was told there's no food only coffee & desserts. I left shocked.
Also, there's no dinner service, yet they are booked in evenings...
They told me it's only for family & friends. Very disappointed. They should focus on their customers, especially since they just opened.
I stopped by this café/restaurant today & had a great experience. I ordered a coffee, & it turned out to be excellent-rich, smooth, & clearly made with care. The whole atmosphere had a warm, positive energy that made it easy to relax & enjoy the moment.
The service was equally impressive. The waiter greeted me with a friendly smile, was polite throughout, & checked in at just the right times. Everything was served in a timely manner without feeling rushed.
Overall, it was a great visit, & I'm already planning to return soon, especially to try their lunch menu. Highly recommended!

Stopped by for a quick coffee at the bar. Nice to see a restaurant in the West Island with constant line up. My cappuccino was excellent. I will have to come back for lunch
Met my friend at Cafe Gentile West Island for a quick lunch. I came with an open mind due to the restaurant only being open 1 week. Both my friend & I were so impressed with the service & food!! Haven't stopped thinking about the mushroom pizza !!! Cannot wait to go back!!!
This restaurant is what the West Island has been missing! Somewhere that we can go for a coffee/ breakfast/lunch/ or dinner- for the whole family, group of friends or a nice date night. The staff is friendly & amazing, the atmosphere is vibrant & beautiful. The food, as we have come to expect from Gentile's is always delicious! Looking forward to so many more visits.
We were at the newly opened Gentile's for lunch today! It was awesome! We all enjoyed our meals & the friendly wait staff. Also, the decor & layout of the restaurant is outstanding! Welcome to the West Island, we waited way, way, way too long for your arrival!!!
I visited this resturant / coffee shop & had one of the worst dining experiences I can remember in the past 45 years in Montreal.
From the start, we were rushed to order immediately. After barely taking my second bite, we were told to pay. Even while still drinking our coffee, the manager came over & said we had to leave because their lunch service was starting. Wr were there for brunch at 10 am.
The setup is confusing - the sign says coffee shop on the right, restaurant on the left, but they mix everything & clearly don't know how to manage it.
The female manager was extremely rude, telling us to'go.' When I complained to the male manager, his response was dismissive:'Go write bad reviews, we have 200 good ones.'
This attitude was shockingly unprofessional , arrogant & impolite. We were treated with no respect, rushed out, & made to feel unwelcome. I do not recommend this place at all. I recommend pigeon cafe at list they are so polite & nice .
