First time at Gentile's DDO dinner on Saturday night. As we walked in , the ambiance & decor was wonderful. Started with Calamari & roasted artichoke which was to die for. Main dishes cavateli with rapini & sausage, veal limoni, ravioli & saltiboca were delicious. & of course the Pizza is amazing. Thanks to the entire staff especially our waiter Charles.
I recently discovered Gentile Café in DDO & I honestly can't say enough good things about it. We first went for brunch two Sundays ago, & I was so impressed that I practically begged my husband to go back that same week for dinner on Friday night.
From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is warm, inviting, & beautifully thought out. There's such a great attention to detail-not just in the décor, but even in the little touches that made my kids feel so welcome & comfortable. It really made the whole experience feel special for the entire family.
The food is absolutely incredible. Everything we tried, both at brunch & dinner, was fresh, flavorful, & clearly made with care. You can tell there's real passion behind the menu.
But what truly elevates the experience is the service. The staff is attentive, friendly, & genuinely makes you feel taken care of without being overbearing.
Going back on Friday night was exactly what I needed to unwind after a long work week-it was everything I had hoped for & more.
Gentile Café has quickly become one of our favorite spots. Highly recommend!

Lunch was great! Tastefully decorated establishment, rich decor that sets a comfortable atmosphere. Food was fresh, great ingredients & selection. Service staff is quick, friendly & knowledgeable, Great place for relaxed lunch. Loved it, will come again.
Went last Friday with a few childhood friends & had a fantastic night! The atmosphere was lively & welcoming, the service was attentive, & the food was excellent. It's the perfect spot to catch up with friends over great Italian dishes & drinks. Everything from the decor to the overall vibe made for a really enjoyable evening. Definitely looking forward to going back!
Passed by with some friends on a Sunday evening around 7 pm & it was busy. Very nicely decorated & seating was very comfortable. Our waitress Marika was excellent. Friendly, attentive & efficient. We shared a margherita pizza to start which was delicious. My wife had the Veal al limone which she said was good. I wouldn't have been happy with that plate as the portion was 3 small & thin slices of veal for $40. I would have still been hungry. I had the Chicken parmigiana which was delicious but instead of serving it with a side of pasta, I got fries. Wasn't crazy about that substitution. My friends also had the veal as well as the cavatelli which was delicious. A nice meal in a nice environment with good service but a few small shortcomings. Highly suggest them to drop the fries with the chicken parmigiana & increase the portion on the veal. Recommended.
So we were at Gentile West Island yesterday evening with a group of about twenty. For most of us it was the first time at the West Island location. We are big fans of the other two already. This place gets a 5 star rating on all counts. We had a variety of appetizers (they kept coming) that were excellent. The main meal (veal sacalopinni limone) was fantastic. The variety of desserts were also great. Now lets add an amazing ambiance (imagine this was a week day), an amazing decor, the service is excellent (Bella is great) & the host, owner Anthony Gentile is great. Add to this: ample & free parking. Don't take my word on this, check it out yourself. I would make reservations!

Great experience - Excellent food & portions were more generous than St. Catherine location (I was disappointed with my last visit).
Had the Steak & Cheese sandwich with a 1/2 portion of Rigatoni Rosé.
Service was outstanding - everybody was friendly from start to end.
Definitely a great spot for lunch of a quick coffee.
The bar area is beautiful. Nice decor overall.
My mom & her friends came to eat & loved their experience! Everything from the decor, the music & obviously the food. Management was extremely accommodating & staff was attentive & kind! They are a super tough crowd & rarely leave restaurants with this much positive feedback!
What a beautiful restaurant - from the food, the decor, the finishes, the staff. Everyone is so kind & the food is 10/10. First time trying artichokes tonight… I was amazed! Adam was our waiter & did an excellent job! Always checking in on us & ensuring the meal was to our expectations. Thanks again Gentile & looking forward to coming back!

First time going to Gentile in the West Island & I absolutely loved it. The food was amazing, the cocktails were to die for & the decor was just stunning. Such an amazing atmosphere & the staff was on point. Bella served us & was such a delight, made the best first impression to this restaurant. She made very good recommendations & checked in on us plenty of times throughout our night. I will definitely be coming back 🌟

Just left gentile West Island , it was 12 on 10!! The staff, the decor, the food, the coffee & of course, the incredible chocolate chip cookie for my daughter, all flawless. A true West Island gem, we are lucky to have them in the neighborhood.
We were at the newly opened Gentile's for lunch today! It was awesome! We all enjoyed our meals & the friendly wait staff. Also, the decor & layout of the restaurant is outstanding! Welcome to the West Island, we waited way, way, way too long for your arrival!!!
