Chez Téta emerges from reviews as a warm, welcoming Lebanese spot with a casual, lively vibe and a strong emphasis on house made bread, fresh ingredients, and generous hospitality. Diners rhapsodize about the manoucheh varieties, dips, fattoush, hummus, and wraps, plus standout beverages like cardamom latte and rose latte, with sfouf and pistachio rose cakes cited as memorable finishes. The food is frequently described as flavorful, authentic, and comforting, with many noting that the flavors remind them of home and that the portions are satisfying for the price. The ambiance is described as cozy and inviting, sometimes bustling, with a terrace in summer and a buzz that can make the place feel busy, yet staff are repeatedly praised for friendliness, attentiveness, and quick service on large orders. A few reservations appear about peak times, where wait times and occasional mix ups can occur, and one or two mentions of limited seating or noise. Overall the consensus is that Chez Téta delivers a remarkable Lebanese dining experience in Montreal, with reliable quality, memorable desserts, and a sense of being part of a family run neighborhood gem.
Really like this cafe! Atmosphere is so good & their manouchés are different & delicious. The makdous labné one is so good, hope it becomes permanent on the menu. Amazing lattes. Also a big plus: super baby friendly!

I have tried their Zaatar, always with labneh, which is my favorite & one of the best Zaatar in Montreal! Sit, eat, then, drink their tasteful coffee with either Sfout or Rose & Pistachio cake. They melted in your mouth, can't forget their taste.
This time, I tried their beautifully designed Rose latte. I truly recommended, even you are not a fan of a taste of Rose, like myself.
This place is always full & theres a reason why. The BEST Manoucheh ever. Very quick service if you want to grab something to go! When im in the neughbourhood I can't help but stop by.

It's not my first time at Chez Téta in the Plateau, but this time I tried their new manouché, labneh with fresh tomatoes & makdous (eggplants with walnuts & spices)& it was absolutely amazing! It's not on the menu, they're offering it just for this month as a trial, & honestly, it's a big success. The mix of creamy labneh & the crunchiness of the eggplants makes this manoucheh really special. As always, I had my favorite, the cardamom latte. The service was great, the staff super friendly, & we didn't wait long. Overall, another lovely experience at Chez Téta.
Tried their new manouché du mois (labné & makdous) & it's a MUST TRY!! All the flavors combined in it - heaven! A taste that reminds me of home.
The service is one of the best in Montreal. The owner came to check if all is good.

A great spot for a Lebanese brunch in Plateau! The ambiance is warm & inviting, perfect for a relaxed weekend meal. We tried the manouche aux oeufs, dôme de téta, & the halloumi wrap. The wrap had quite a bit of pesto, but overall, everything was fresh & flavorful. Definitely worth a visit!
On doit essaye

Such a perfect lunch spot 😍 amazing Lebanese food, unbelievable wraps & dips - the chicken wrap was delicious & the flatbread was sooo soft!! The service was also amazing, & the outside seating in fall is perfect 👌 love this place
This place gets super busy & honestly after trying it I can see why. Chez Teta features a menu that is just the right size with some truly quality items of Lebanese cuisine. I was so thrilled to finally get a seat here that I overdid it & ordered two manouches for myself - but no regret as they were both amazing. I got the falafel & chicken+cheese, with preference to the second. The bread used is so fresh & soft & all the toppings are of high quality as well. Service was a bit scrambled at times, the hostess initially missed me while I was waiting but fortunately the bossman pointed me out for her to serve. There was also some miscommunication when I paid where I was left awkwardly waiting for my change for some time. But otherwise all the interactions were warm, they are trying their best with the high demand for sure. The interior is nicely decorated, the atmosphere holds despite the bustling crowds.
