Overall, Café Chez Téta is celebrated for fresh Lebanese flavors, warm hospitality, and a welcoming vibe that feels like a home away from home. Reviews highlight handmade manouche, hummus, dips, and the cardamom or rose latte options, as well as fresh bread and house made pastries. While the atmosphere is praised as cozy with a bright terrace, a few notes mention busy weekend crowds causing short waits and occasional service gaps, and some delivery experiences were not perfect. Many describe it as one of Montreal's top Lebanese spots, great for brunch, lunch, or coffee, with popular items selling out and reservations not available, so plan accordingly.
People nice, delicious food & a very nice atmosphere.
My wife & I lived a long time in the Middle East & love the Lebanese food. So whenever we have the desire, that's a place for the famous manousche. They are delicious, the staff & people are very nice & prices are decent.
I placed a catering order for an event. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the manoushe zaatar, fromage, lahrem bi ajin & kechek. Melodie personally delivered the order warm & fresh! I highly recommend trusting them with their service❤?

We came in with a large group & the owner went above & beyond to accommodate us! We tried a little bit of everything & it was all delicious but the egg & cheese manouchech (teta's version) was my favorite! The lattes were also amazing! Definitely worth a visit!
Nous avions une rencontre familiale importante en cette journée froide & pluvieuse de mai. Vos plats faits avec amour ont ensoleillé notre pique-nique au parc. Merci! :)
Café chez Téta is truly a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth & passion behind this place. The owners are absolutely amazing-so welcoming, attentive, & genuinely caring about every customer's experience.
The food is outstanding, & you can really taste the quality in every bite. The dough, in particular, is next level-perfectly soft, fresh, & full of flavor. It's clear that everything is made with care & authenticity.
The atmosphere is just as beautiful as the food-clean, cozy, & inviting. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or a relaxed meal, it's always a great experience.
Highly recommended. This is one of those places you try once & keep coming back to.

Had such a great brunch here-definitely a 4-5-star experience. The staff were friendly & welcoming, & everything came out quickly without feeling rushed.
The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, & full of flavor.
Manouchehs:
- Half cheese half zaatar with cucumber tomato mint: 10/10
- Kafta cheese aïoli tomatoe: 10/10
- Teta's Falafel: 8/10
- Teta's Halloumi: 7/10 (the pesto is a bit sour for my taste & not pesto-y enough)
- Teta's Kafta: 6/10
The combo (Teta's platter) makes it way too much food for one person imo. Better to share it between 2 people. The salad dressing is a bit sour so I ask for it on the side.
Lattes:
- Halva latte: 100/10 literally best latte I've ever had in my life
- Cardamon latte: 8/10
I lunched with my gf today, we are lucky that a place like Café chez Téta exists, to be able to export & make known to all people & nations the best tastes of Lebanese cuisine , they even add some twists of fusion to it, halloumi bacon, Rose water arak, etc
All the past years I drank arak. I never had a Rose water Arak before & it was a very very good drink to have. Vive le Liban ! Vive la générosité Libanaise !
Addendum :
What a great welcoming staff Mélodie the owner is a sweet & charming host, I recommend to all lovers of good vibes, good quality of food & unforgetful tastes !

The Lebanese breakfast here is truly authentic & delicious-a real standout. However, the hospitality & courtesy from the hostess on Sunday definitely has room for improvement. Our waitress was great, she seemed to be the only one handling her stress with grace.
This place is outstanding in every way possible. The food is exquisite, the service is above & beyond & the atmosphere so pleasant. The owner is there every single day, making sure everything runs to perfection. True dedication. This is a true gem in Montreal 💚
