I was a bit lost at the start locating the cafe because it's not actually along rue William. The ambiance inside the cafe is very cozy. The staff are very welcoming & helpful. My only criticism is that I wish there was more seating space. I was hoping to sit at a table & take a photo of their drink in a clear glass but I looked around & resorted to ordering to-go (someone just happened to leave while my drink was being prepared).
I ordered the iced Matcha 2nd gen which apparently has condensed milk. I quite enjoyed the smoother texture & slight more sweetness.
Overall, really nice spot to enjoy a drink while reading a book!
Juste waw!!! Perso, j'ai essayé beaucoup de cafés & je trouve que c'est le meilleur. Autant au niveau de la qualité , du goût & de la variété. Incluant la nourriture. On sens que c'est frais & chaque bouches est succulentes. J'adore le spanish latte , grille cheese au pesto & tomates sèche & le biscuit fleur de sel. Je compte tout essayer. Dès que j'ai la chance je fais un détour pour y aller. Clairement c'est mon coup de coeur. J'adore aussi l'histoire des propriétaires 🩷✨🙏🏻 bless
2nd gen truly upgraded the matcha game!!! I had THE pleasure to try both their sticky date & tiramisú matcha drink. Damn! Phenomenal!!! I highly recommend the sticky date one. My sister also tried the UBE matcha drink & said it was one of the best she has ever had. Pass by if you're around, Sara & her team are kind & deserve the hype! 🥰💕

Café 2nd Gen has great coffee & really good matcha, definitely worth visiting for the drinks alone. The only downside is that the space is very small. I was hoping to stay & sit for a while, but there weren't enough seats available, so we had to take everything to go instead.
I have been here twice & the drinks are always so good! I could tell they use high quality matcha & coffee. I highly recommend the ube coffee & matcha.
Everyone who works there is also very nice & friendly.
Best ube matcha ever!!! I highly recommend it to everyone. I'm so happy they finally opened their own cafe. They used to have a shed outside in Dix30 last summer so I'm glad to see them evolving & having a successful business! Their drinks are amazing & the price is very reasonable for the quality you get. The staff here are also so sweet every time I come :)
Service froid, peu de places disponibles où s'asseoir & valeur quantité/prix ridicule (une boisson remplie à 75% de glace pour un prix plus élevé qu'à d'autres endroits). Je n'y retournerai pas. J'ai quand même mis 2 étoiles car la viennoiserie que j'ai prise était très bonne.
We tried their tiramisu latte which was such an amazing treat, their kafta banh mi was extremely delicious!! Their date tahini latte, can't pin the taste of dates or tahini but it makes the sweetness balance the bitterness of the coffee perfectly. Their hot chocolate was so good & not too sweet.
The owner is just the sweetest & so welcoming.
Definitely will be back to try more & especially for that kafta banh mi!

Love the vibe but felt the lady at the register was lowkey bothered by the fact that I didn't tip for a self-serve $13 croissant & coffee 😭 would come again tho it's cute!
Ce petit café de quartier est un endroit très sympa pour prendre un café ou autre sur place ou emporter. J'ai particulièrement apprécié leur matcha ! Ils proposent également une sélection classique de boissons chaudes & froides. Le service était rapide & sympathique.
Ube matcha was very rich so felt more like a dessert rather than a drink. Seasonal jasmine matcha was really fragrant & unique! Down side is the amount of ice in their drinks; a bit too much
