Overall this place is regarded as one of Montreal's top burger destinations and a spot many guests plan to return to.
I tried the Firesomething burger it was tasty but kinda sloppy (2nd photo). My husband's looked way better & was put together nicer. Fries were crispy & the staff was friendly. It cost $27, which is fine, but honestly... I was still hungry after. Also, don't bother upgrading your side to poutine or anything else it's like $5 extra & really not worth it. Decent spot, but not amazing.
I like going to burger bar crescent to order their buffalo chicken Mac & cheese. It's so cheesy & delicious! & it's so good! I always order that every time! & i definitely recommend this dish to anyone! They have the BEST Mac & cheese ever!

Always my favourite burger place to stop; the bison burgers are to die for! Such a cozy vibe & excellent service. Some nights can get super busy so I recommend calling ahead to ask if there's any tables available.
Despite having a reservation, we were shown & left there to a table on the second floor that was cramped between two other occupied tables. It was clearly impossible to pull out the chairs & sit down. We bailed! Luckily a table at the entrance freed up. The burgers were decent, nothing more.
I just had poutine for the first time at Burger Bar Montreal, & it did not disappoint! The combination of crispy fries, gooey cheese curds, & rich gravy was absolutely delicious. I can see why it's such a popular Canadian dish!
The flavors blended perfectly, & the portion size was generous. If you're new to poutine like I was, I highly recommend trying it here. A must-try experience in Montreal!
