Located in the heart of Crescent Street, Burger Bar Crescent offers Gourmet Hamburgers, Mac & Cheese, Sweet Potatoes and many other Burger delights. Our upstairs area offers groups for sports nights or parties of any kind the privacy and atmosphere to relax and have a good time.
Burger Bar Crescent is praised for juicy, well-balanced burgers and a diverse menu that runs from smash burgers to Wagyu and bison options, with standout picks such as the Quebecois, Roadhouse, Supersonic, and Firestorm, along with excellent fries, poutine, and a solid beer and cocktails list. The atmosphere is repeatedly described as cozy, lively, and family friendly, with a convenient terrace and fast, friendly service noted by many, though a few visits mention busier times leading to slower service and occasional mistakes. Food quality gets glowing remarks for freshness and flavor, while some reviewers call out rare misses like veggie burgers that are too sour and salty, dry mac and cheese, or a burnt burger, but these are framed as exceptions rather than the rule. Overall, it comes across as a top Montreal option for burger lovers seeking generous portions, plenty of drink options, and a vibrant, easygoing setting in the heart of the city, with many planning to return on future visits.
Really great spot for burgers. The atmosphere is nice & relaxed. Dining room clean & comfortable. Waitstaff very helpful & nice. Drinks & desserts are great too.
We stopped by around 8:30 pm for drinks & dessert as the restaurant was winding down. Unfortunately, it felt like our table was being avoided, & after waiting for some time without service, we decided to leave.
Excellent place to have GOOD burgers. I asked for the doble patty with poutine, instead of French fries aside. Delicious. & a Sangria to drink. Nice place to have lunch or dinner. Excellent service. I recommend it a lot. Not expensive either.
Had The Roadhouse & it was amazing. Service was excellent - my server, Xena, was attentive & had a great sense for when to check in on me for order, water, drinks, etc. Overall, Chef's kiss - no notes!
Great spot & good to take a family. The food is fantastic & a ton of selection. Really really good burgers. A variety of drinks as well - Labatt 50 on tap. Incredible. Would recommend the Quebecois burger or roadhouse. Both fantastic! This place knows how to make a burger.
Our server was great, but overworked. Would see him & then wouldn't for quite sometime. We sat on the street patio. Our server was serving the street patio, inside & the second story patio as well. That's a lot to cover & unfortunately it took away from the service experience.
Went with some friends before a concert. As there were 4 of us we booked a table that gave us plenty of time. Service was extremely slow. Over 30 minutes to take the drinks order & the food took over an hour to arrive

This spot came highly recommended by locals & thankfully so. Burger Bar Crescent delivered a fantastic meal right in the heart of the city. The burger selection was impressive with something for every taste, & the drinks were just as memorable. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax & enjoy. If you are visiting Montreal, make sure this place is on your list!
Burger fans will be thrilled! Amazing food & fabulous atmosphere. The cocktails also looked so good but by the end of my vacation I didn't have it in me to drink one more cocktail :)
best burguer place ever! the big blue with blue cheese is soooo good! i always recomend to people & everybody loves it! also, the bartender is super nice & did sweet drinks for me! perfect!
I recently visited Burger Bar Crescent in Montreal, & it was a pretty laid-back experience. The gin & tonic was strong, definitely catering to those who enjoy a bold/strong drink. I'm not mad at it.
One thing that stood out, though, is that they still use a QR code for the menu, which isn't my favorite. I much prefer a physical menu-there's something about flipping through one that just feels more comfortable & personal.
The Jack Daniel's wings were hands down the highlight-crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with the perfect balance of sweetness & heat. They were delicious!
I also tried the Supersonic burger, which was decently sized & juicy, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. It was good, but a little more seasoning would have taken it to the next level. I'm curious to come back & try the burger that earned them the title of best burger in Montreal. The onion rings & fries were spot-on though-crispy & golden, just the way I like them.
The place was pretty quiet, giving it a relaxed vibe, & the service was friendly. Overall, Burger Bar Crescent is a solid choice for tasty wings & a chill atmosphere, though the burger didn't quite hit the mark for me.

The place is beautiful & music is at the right level to have great conversations. Food was good but the fries were slightly dry. I wish they had more images in the online menu. The drink was very good also.
I lowkey should have looked twice at the bad reviews because this spot was slow as hell on a Monday night. On top of that, we received our order after 3 other tables who were sat after us. The other tables complained. We did not. They were offered free drinks. We just got "Thank you for dining with us" The only saving grace is that my son said the Bougie Smash burger was delicious. Better than 7th Street Burgers? He said YES. However, DO NOT get the buffalo chicken poutine. The ranch & buffalo sauce & the gravy was too much. The fries themselves were soggy. The ice cream machine was out of order so no milkshakes that night. Also, DO NOT order the lemonade. It was incredibly too too sweet. Downright inedible in my opinion. It is to be determined whether we will be back. An hour for a burger on a Monday night at 630pm is not it. I almost left to go to GyuKaku down the block.
Tried this little place on Crescent after the Saint Patrick's Day parade & had a cute little patio. We ordered drinks & they were not bad but seemed like they forgot the alcohol. We ordered food & waited at least 45 minutes & no food came, all other tables on the patio had ordered, got their food & left while we were still waiting. The server was very apologetic but when the food came out the "Chix Dig It" chicken burger was not fully cooked. They quickly made another one & it was pretty good. I am not sure I would actually return to this restaurant because it was really long to wait for the food & it was mediocre at best.
