NOTRE HISTOIRE
Depuis 1982, l’équipe de la Brûlerie offre une expérience café qui se démarque.
La Brûlerie offre maintenant une grande variété de cafés en vrac. Les cafés de spécialité sont torréfiés dans notre petit four artisanal, maximisant ainsi le développement des arômes, des saveurs et bien sûr, la fraîcheur du produit.
Les membres de l’équipe de la Brûlerie suivent un programme de formation continue afin de maintenir un niveau de connaissance élevé dans ce domaine complexe.
Brûlerie FARO se présente comme une adresse incontournable du centre-ville pour son café riche et constant, avec un large choix de grains et des boissons variées; le service est majoritairement chaleureux et efficace, mais certains avis évoquent parfois un personnel rude ou indifférent et l'ambiance peut devenir bruyante lorsque la salle est pleine; le cadre est souvent cosy et propice au travail ou à l'etude, mais quelques retours pointent un espace restreint, du mobilier et une propreté perfectibles et des prix parfois élevés par rapport a l'offre; les patisseries et les sandwiches complètent l'offre, certains commentaires vantant des moka et latte réussis tandis que d'autres trouvent certaines preparatons lourdes ou seches; l'etablissement est aussi apprecié pour son ambiance italienne, son esprit écoresponsable et le fait de pouvoir acheter des grains sur place avec des reductions en ramenant le sac; pris ensemble, Brûlerie FARO est souvent recommande pour le cafe de qualite et le service sympathique, tout en restant conscient des limites d'espace, de propreté et de coherence selon l'heure et la visite.
They invested in the space at the expense of the coffee. I used to go frequently & always thiught they served a good decent cup. Now, they changed the coffee machine & it just tastes like the average starbucks latte you'd get anywhere else. If you love coffee, i would'nt put this in an itinerary.

Nice coffee, but serving dine-in drinks in disposable paper cups was really disappointing. It feels unnecessary, wasteful, & takes away from the café experience. I wouldn't expect that from a place that wants to create a cozy sit-down atmosphere.
I went to participate in the'2$coffee on the first Tuesday of every month' promotion, but the staff rudely told me that only people working in the building could participate, even though the promotional poster clearly stated that everyone could participate. This is completely false advertising.if you don't want others to participate...
Bro coffee is alright but why are there so many fruit flies everywhere I can't even talk to my friend in peace without swatting them away every 2 seconds
Great coffee flavours downtown! A bit small place & not always space is available. The interrior setting is not that great, but the service is veey friendly!
Stopped in for coffee, all tables were occupied by people with computers, a patron indicated they were waiting for someone, so offered to share a seat with us. The server was rude & snappy with us. When I ordered a coffee, she snarled at me that she was deaf in one ear, instead of saying'I didn't hear you'. My brother said'Bonjour', before ordering & she responded'I do speak English', then sarcastically said' but I can speak French if you prefer' knowing full well we were English speaking.
The bathroom was dirty, & there were no towels to dry my hands.
When we left, all the same patrons were still there.
Definately won't return or recommend.
This place has so much potential! The coffee is good & the food was okay, but I've never seen a dirtier café. Tables & chairs were left uncleaned, & the floor looked like it hadn't been touched in days. It wasn't even busy, & I saw people cleaning their own tables just to sit down.

FARO Café has quickly become one of my favorite downtown coffee stops. I've visited multiple times, & each visit has been consistently excellent. Their coffee is truly the star of the show-rich, flavorful, & brewed to perfection every single time. I can honestly say I've never had a bad cup here, which speaks volumes for their quality & consistency.
The menu extends beyond coffee, offering a nice selection of beverages, sandwiches, pastries, & salads. While I haven't explored these as much, they make FARO a versatile spot for a quick snack or light meal.
What sets FARO apart, aside from their stellar coffee, is the service. The staff is polite, efficient, & spot-on with orders. Coffee lovers will understand how important it is to get exactly what you ordered-& at FARO, that's a given.
If you're downtown & need a reliable, excellent coffee experience, FARO Café is a must-visit. I'll definitely keep coming back & highly recommend you check it out.
So very nice to get a perfect cortado outside Spain.
Most of our pastries were excellent but a raspberry & pistachio scone was heavy & very dry.
But will definitely go back for the coffee & a pain au chocolat or other such delight.
