?If you're looking for authentic Syrian flavors with a modern, stylish edge, BROCARD is the place!
It strikes that rare balance of feeling retro, authentic, & effortlessly cool-where the soundtrack shifts from Saint Levant to Kaytranada without missing a beat. The decor is stunning, featuring vintage movie posters, a projector playing B&W films, & even an oud on display.
?We came in for a Friday 18h30 reservation & the energy was already buzzing with a stylish, young crowd. We did the tasting menu on Humam's recommendation, & it was flawless. Every dish from the open kitchen - orchestrated but the talented Talal & Georges, was perfectly timed, flavorful, & beautifully proportioned. For the quality & the experience, the prices are incredibly reasonable. I've already booked my next visit for a larger group. Simply AMAZING!
The food was sooo good! The fattet mozat was perfect & very authentic. Everything we ordered was great but that specific dish was just wow. The lamb was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the portion sizes (not huge & exaggerated) & found everything to be reasonably priced for the quality. Can't wait to go back.
The best Syrina food I've ever had in my life, amazing service & the price is very fair for quality os the food served, really recommend it!
What a pleasure it was to dine at Brocard on New Year's Eve! It was wonderful to find that the food & service were every bit as good as their numerous 5 star reviews suggested. We received a warm & friendly greeting on arrival & we were immediately shown to our reserved table. Given that it was New Year's Eve, the restaurant was busy throughout our visit. Nevertheless, the service was continuously prompt & delightful. We ordered the yalangi (stuffed grapevine leaves), shish barak (veal dumplings) & batersh (eggplant dip topped with veal in tomato sauce). Each of these mezze were exceptionally tasty. My wife also tried the'Tamer Hindi' (tamarind drink) & it was delightfully refreshing. For our mains we chose the fatet mozat (lamb in a tahini yogurt sauce) & sayadeyeh (fried cod fillet). Both of these dishes were also delicious & generously portioned for the price. We didn't have room for dessert, but look forward to returning to try their dessert as well as many other savoury items. We highly recommend this charming restaurant.
Definitely a 5 star place.
Very welcoming service & friendly.
Food was excellent & the price was decent.
Would 100% recommend.
The food was excellent! It's is fresh & tasty, the price quality ration is a rare find. If you want an authentic Syrian & a great service, this is the place !
What a great experience! From the service, to the atmosphere, to the food, everything was top notch! Food is very reasonably priced & everything was very fresh with great flavours. Servers were incredibly nice & attentive but also gave you space to relax & take your time. Nice to have a dinner where they aren't trying to rush you out in under an hour! Its a small, intimate space, with an open kitchen which we always enjoy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brocard & we'll definitely be back!
My daughter & I have never had Syrian food. From the street, the restaurant looked very inviting & cosy on a cold night. Our server was helpful & charming; the food was obviously made in house & reasonably priced. Dinner was delicious!! The experience was wonderful & we wish all the best to the owners. This place is a gem.
Tried this new restaurant this week through Uber Eats.
I ordered the sujuk sandwich, kebab hindi, yalanji, muhammara, & halawet el jibn (total: $78.69).
Overall, it's a good restaurant. The sujuk sandwich came with salad & potatoes. The sandwich itself was small but tasty-the sujuk had good flavor. However, I didn't love the bread; it felt more like a wrap than a traditional Arabic sandwich.
The only item I really disliked was the yalanji. The rice was undercooked & the overall taste reminded me of canned yalanji from Costco or wtv. They don't specify the quantity on Uber Eats, but we received around six pieces.
Before ordering, I noticed some reviews mentioning small portions. Personally, I felt the portions for most items were fair for the price-except for the sujuk sandwich, which was sadly small & not filling at all.
The halawet el jibn was okay; it came with four pieces.
The muhammara & the kebab hindi were good as well.
Overall, it's a decent restaurant, but in my opinion, Fol Fol restaurant is still much better.
This might be one of the best hidden gems/new restos in the city. Ordered a few basics for the first time as a test, & the flavors, freshness, value & overall products, simply amazing. The open kitchen almost makes it feel like street food being served. However, this is elevated cuisine at fair price.
Bravo to the friendly staff/ownership for offering wonderful food, in a clean venue, at great value & looking forward to trying the whole menu.
Very dissapointed in my order... the food was good but very small portion for the price. The pictures on uber eats are deceiving. I order shish barak (12$) tabouleh (10$) & shish tawook ( 23$) & everything should be at least 5 $ less for the portion.
Amazing new Syrian restaurant! They don't have many reviews yet, but it's definitely worth a try. Both the food & drinks are excellent, & the prices are totally reasonable. Highly recommended!
Lovely, kind service, delicious food, warm atmosphere. The restaurant just opened, & is definitely worth a visit. Very reasonably priced & a nice night out.
