Je suis entrée simplement pour goûter leur pain aux pommes & au mélilot… & je suis finalement tombée sous le charme de toute la boulangerie. Dès qu'on passe la porte, une odeur chaleureuse de pain frais & de beurre enveloppe l'endroit & donne immédiatement envie de tout découvrir. La décoration intérieure est magnifique, authentique & apaisante, avec cette impression rare d'être dans un lieu créé avec passion & amour du métier.
Le monsieur qui m'a servie a pris le temps de m'expliquer leur démarche : des ingrédients locaux, soigneusement choisis ici même au Québec, un véritable respect des produits & des saisons. Cela se ressent dans chaque bouchée. Le pain aux pommes & au mélilot était absolument délicieux, parfumé, délicat & réconfortant à la fois.
J'ai aussi goûté leur pain au chocolat : parfaitement feuilleté, riche en goût, mais sans être trop sucré un vrai bonheur à manger 😋 On sent la qualité des ingrédients & le savoir-faire artisanal dans chaque produit.
Le service était tout aussi remarquable : chaleureux, attentionné & sincère, comme si l'on était accueillie chez des amis. Chaque détail semble pensé avec soin, autant dans les saveurs que dans l'ambiance.
Ils font aussi des pizzas certains jours seulement, ce qui donne encore plus envie d'y retourner pour découvrir le reste de leur savoir-faire. Une adresse précieuse & inspirante que je recommande de tout coeur.

No pizza dough which is fine but when I asked where could I find some (we are pretty much in little Italy) the rude man working the front was very snobby & said he had absolutely no idea. The bakery across the street had. It wouldn't have been hard for him to suggest it but it was clear he enjoyed being snobby more than being helpful.

Je commande du pain & des pâtisseries ici depuis 7 ans, & la qualité & la diversité des produits sont toujours en croissance. Ça paraît que les boulangers font ça par passion.
