Excellent customer service, delicious & tasty food. We were served by Mandy & she made sure we were well taken care of: answered all our questions & made sure that our experience went smoothly. As for the food, the batter in the crispy chicken in the sliders was well seasoned (not too salty unlike other places, yet packed a punch), chicken in was tender & juicy. Came with the right amount of pickle & sauce to add a bit of zing. The lemon in the Caesar salad really tied everything together. Hot pep came with a generous amount of pepperoni, honey, & hot pepper. Very pleased & very generous portions. Would come again!Voir plus

I really liked the vibe in this place. In particular, the bar is really cool. The service was good, & despite being packed on a Saturday night, we did not have to wait long for a table. Had the cheesy garlic rolls & a pizza along with a dirty martini & all were extremely delicious.Voir plus

I decided to plan my birthday here for 14 people a few weeks in advance, as normal things happen a few people had to cancel, not only did they text me to confirm my reservation, the morning of my reservation they texted me asking how many people were going to be coming to this reservation. They were very accommodating & polite considering how busy the restaurant always is. Outstanding service, food, atmosphere & employees. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.Voir plus

The food here is very good but the restaurant is very cramped. Unless you're a big group & can secure a booth, you're pretty much sitting on the lap of the people next to you. It's way too tight to not feel awkward & like you want to get out as quickly as possible. It's a shame because the food is tasty.Voir plus

Very nice spot for a drink & dinner. The outdoor patio is nice although not much to look at other than traffic lol. I wish they had more options on tap as they had only house beer & one other. Pizza was actually fantastic, nice crispy bottom & toppings were perfect.Voir plus

Disappointed & disgusted with Bernie's Pizza Martini Bar July 5, 2025
Four us went here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We chose 4 different pizzas so we could try a few different ones. To our shock, all the pizzas were burnt! Not just the outer crust but the bottoms of the pizzas as well. We called over our server, showed her the worst charred pizza & asked for a replacement. About 15 minutes later, the replacement arrived & it was burnt also. At this point we were fed up, asked for our bill & left, vowing to never return. Aside from the burnt pizzas (5 in all) the noise level is ridiculously loud & the tables are very tightly crammed in together. I gave 2 stars because they play great music & the decor is cute. Food: The Signature Ceasar was delicious & Bernies Beef Sliders were juicy & flavourful. The fries gave off serious McDonald's vibes (in a good way!) But the real MVP was the Cheesy Garlic Rolls. Absolutely to die for! We were too full so we didn't get to try the pizza.
Atmosphere: The decor was super cozy. However, the space was extremely cramped. Tables were so close together it felt like I was sharing dinner with the next party. The music was too loud, making conversation a bit of a challenge. On top of that, I felt a bit rushed, which detracted from what could have been a more relaxing dining experience.Voir plus

We had high hopes for Bernie's, & while the experience was decent overall, a few things held it back.
It was raining when we arrived & we had reserved a table on the terrace. Unfortunately, the host didn't make much of an effort to accommodate us inside & initially tried to seat us outdoors despite the weather, which left a bad first impression.
That said, the decor is great - cozy, stylish, & very welcoming. The ambiance was definitely a strong point.
The food was hit or miss. The sliders were quite tasty, but the pizza was on the dry side. For dessert, the chocolate cake was clearly store-bought - I've seen & tasted the exact same one at Costco. Overall, the menu could use more variety & freshness.
What really stood out, though, was our bartender/server. He was incredibly attentive & made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening.

Gluten free be forewarned: box does not indicate size of pizza.
After ordering a gluten free Hot Pep pizza & a Cesar salad for pickup, we were impressed by the size of the box upon receiving it.
Once we arrived home & opened the box we were surprised & disappointed to say the least. I understand that gluten free crust is normally smaller due to it being harder to make & needs to be frozen, but the misleading box size left a sour taste in our mouths… pun intended.
Charging extra for gluten free is also standard across restaurants but I can't help but feel overcharged a bit when the pizza was close to $45 for what it was. Especially since you're saving a substantial amount of produce just from how small it is.
If we are to put that behind us & focus solely on flavour, it was good, but nothing to write home about. The sauce was nice, on the sweeter side, & the cheese was normal. The pepperoni were not cooked through enough to where they made the'cup'. The peperoncino & hot honey were very sparse for a Hot Pep pizza.
It was not bad by any means, we were just hoping for more.
The Cesar salad was lacklustre, completely average iceberg lettuce & dressing. Nothing special about it to make it their own. Once again, fine but nothing to write home about.
One extreme positive was the service & atmosphere, I don't want this review to sound like a bash, we just had an underwhelming experience regarding the food. It doesn't mean the place is bad.
The hostess & owner (Bernie's son) are very nice & bring a positive energy to the place, & the design of the restaurant is very inviting & lovely. I would strongly recommend it to dine in!
To conclude, I would say give it a go, but don't expect to be blown away with the order we got. Maybe if I got a non gluten free pizza it would be life changing!Voir plus
