The food was very delicious! The beef sliders & pizza were yummy, we got to do half white sauce & half pesto sauce which was very nice. The decoration inside is amazing & so is the service! Would definitely come again.
We were looking forward to trying out this restaurant, but poor experience overall. Food is mid: appetizers were good (salad, sliders) but pizzas were thin/burnt & expensive for what you get. Service was not great either. The waiter kept rolling his eyes every time we'd ask for something & spent more time on his phone or talking to colleagues than serving customers. It's a shame as I like to support local businesses, but I won't be recommending this spot to anyone.
Excellent customer service, delicious & tasty food. We were served by Mandy & she made sure we were well taken care of: answered all our questions & made sure that our experience went smoothly. As for the food, the batter in the crispy chicken in the sliders was well seasoned (not too salty unlike other places, yet packed a punch), chicken in was tender & juicy. Came with the right amount of pickle & sauce to add a bit of zing. The lemon in the Caesar salad really tied everything together. Hot pep came with a generous amount of pepperoni, honey, & hot pepper. Very pleased & very generous portions. Would come again!
Disappointed & disgusted with Bernie's Pizza Martini Bar July 5, 2025
Four us went here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We chose 4 different pizzas so we could try a few different ones. To our shock, all the pizzas were burnt! Not just the outer crust but the bottoms of the pizzas as well. We called over our server, showed her the worst charred pizza & asked for a replacement. About 15 minutes later, the replacement arrived & it was burnt also. At this point we were fed up, asked for our bill & left, vowing to never return. Aside from the burnt pizzas (5 in all) the noise level is ridiculously loud & the tables are very tightly crammed in together. I gave 2 stars because they play great music & the decor is cute. Also, the Caesar salad was good as were the beef sliders & fries. You can see my full review with photos on West Island Honest Reviews & Breaking Bread West Island.
Food: The Signature Ceasar was delicious & Bernies Beef Sliders were juicy & flavourful. The fries gave off serious McDonald's vibes (in a good way!) But the real MVP was the Cheesy Garlic Rolls. Absolutely to die for! We were too full so we didn't get to try the pizza.
Atmosphere: The decor was super cozy. However, the space was extremely cramped. Tables were so close together it felt like I was sharing dinner with the next party. The music was too loud, making conversation a bit of a challenge. On top of that, I felt a bit rushed, which detracted from what could have been a more relaxing dining experience.

We had high hopes for Bernie's, & while the experience was decent overall, a few things held it back.
It was raining when we arrived & we had reserved a table on the terrace. Unfortunately, the host didn't make much of an effort to accommodate us inside & initially tried to seat us outdoors despite the weather, which left a bad first impression.
That said, the decor is great - cozy, stylish, & very welcoming. The ambiance was definitely a strong point.
The food was hit or miss. The sliders were quite tasty, but the pizza was on the dry side. For dessert, the chocolate cake was clearly store-bought - I've seen & tasted the exact same one at Costco. Overall, the menu could use more variety & freshness.
What really stood out, though, was our bartender/server. He was incredibly attentive & made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening.
A nice spot with potential, but a few key things need improvement to make it truly memorable.
All i can say is wow!! The food, ambiance, & staff they were all amazing!
I recommend the pepperoni pizza with sliders & the garlic cheese bunns! Yummy!😋

The sliders hit the spot & the pizza's half & half option is a great way to try out their bestsellers. The ceasar salad is as good as it is instagramable (is this how you write that 🤔)
we were seated at the bar stuck between a service passage & a table of 6 that kept on moving around & still enjoyed ourselves.
Calamari, garlic cheese rolls, sliders, salad, meatballs, pizza, & the warm cookie were absolutely to die for! The service was fantastic. Will definitely be coming back
I absolutely recommend it here. We enjoyed all of our food. The fried chicken sliders were 10/10, as was the cheesy garlic rolls. The caesar salad & pizza are great for sharing. The drinks are good as well. My only negative is that it feels like they are trying to rush you out of the restaurant as fast as possible. I was a server so I understand why, but it doesn't create the best experience. Our table was 20 minutes late & then we felt like we were on a time clock. Overall, will definitely be going back.

Food was amazing!! Ordered the cheesy garlic bread, sliders, pizza & ceasar salad & cookie skillet. Everything was to die for & we finished everything. Pro tip get the lichee strawberry mock tail it's so yum. Service was astounding, our waiter Steve was super friendly & fun. Overall great experience will be back soon :)
Love this place!!! Came here for my birthday on Saturday & the whole family loved it. When we arrived we had a short wait to our table & were given a different table than previously anticipated but it worked out to be even better ! Everyone loved the food we ordered; the ceaser salad, the garlic rolls, sliders (chicken & beef) & a variety of pizz (they do half half !) & we loved every bite. The owner sent over some dessert for my birthday at the end & it was great. Oh & don't skip on the baked chocolate chip cookie !!!! The West Island needed a place like this!
Great food, service & vibes! We were 8 people seated at a cozy round table. Everything we ate & drank we thoroughly enjoyed including: Caesar salad, Pizza Margherita, Pizza Cheese, Pizza Pepperoni, Fried chicken sliders, Beef sliders, House skinny fries, Cheesy garlic rolls, Ranch dip, Hot honey dip, Bernie's Blonde beer, gin cucumber cocktail, & a hot chocolate chip cookie in a skillet with vanilla ice cream! Fairly priced. Highly recommend & definitely will be coming back.
Great atmosphere & ambience. Service was top notch & good was amazing! Definitely have the cheesy garlic rolls, the beef sliders & try the pizza!! It was all amazing! Had the mushroom pizza as well as the meat lovers! Make sure to add the spicy oil!! Overall a great place in the west island. Martinis were also top notch!
This place really lived up to the hype. We ordered the pepperoni pizza, meatballs, garlic cheese bread, & fried chicken sliders. We loved everything. The pizza is very thin crispy/firm dough. If you want to make it extra sexy, ask for the spicy oil. The cheesy garlic bread is good. Its so good that you might have two pieces or more pieces & fill up accidentally. The meatballs are phenomenal. They're small & tender & tasty. The sauce is wonderful. The fried chicken slider comes with a pickle & a mayo based sauce. I was told that it was very good. The decor is old school pizzeria. The only downside for us was crying babies. That is what you get for going for dinner early. Excellent service from Stavros. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure.
