Our chef didn't put on the'show' we expected & just half ass sang random songs….
The food was very underwhelming & tasted burnt.
We drove to Montreal from Ottawa just for this (me & my kids)
We do not recommend we will not return.
Didn't even finish my meal as it didn't taste good
J'ai beaucoup aimé l'expérience du cuisinier devant nous! C'était super bon, notre cuisinier Steve a fait super attention pour l'allergie au gluten, a cuisiné le tofu avant la viande, servait les femmes en premier, il était très drôle & chantait super bien ! Il a mis une très belle ambiance!
Sans oublier notre serveur qui a fait un service impeccable en plus d'être beau comme un coeur! (Malheureusement je n'ai pas su son nom)

Dined in tonite 8/28. Excellent from start to finish. The young server n hibachi cook was excellent. Highly recommended
The cook was a pro with lots of tricks. The food was delicious, especially the tenderloin. The service was on the spot. I don't see how the experience could be improve, it was perfect. We were a group of 8. The table can take up to 10. Highly recommended. I will definitely go again.
We came here for dinner after visiting the Biodome. We have been to several Benihanas in different cities & this was by far the best one!
Our chef was amazing, so entertaining. Our kids loved the show!

L'ambiance c'est de la folie. C'est bien sûr le gros plus de ce restaurant où vous verrez des chefs asiatiques s'adonner à un spectacle parfois de haute voltige avec vos mets. On y ressort rassasié sans aucun doute ! La soupe en entrée est délicieuse avec des oignons croustillants au bon goût d'oignons mais la salade n'est pas ragoûtante. Elle baigne dans une sauce style "asiatique". & surtout elle est fatiguée avec des feuilles flétries par la vie ou le temps passé en cuisine je ne sais pas... Du reste de la nourriture, il faut dire que les saveurs y sont très basiques. C'est dommage. La même sauce soja qui vient agrémenter n'importe quelle protéine choisie (vous aurez le choix entre boeuf, homard, crevette, noix st jacques, poulet ou tofu). & je dirais que parfois les cuissons sont hasardeuses, comme mes st jacques, tant elles semblent être courtes. Une d'entre elles n'étaient pas assez cuite & immangeable donc. Mais le vrai coup de coeur fut la viande de boeuf tendre à souhait. Un délice que je recommande fortement. Je n'ai pas goûter la queue de homard. On goûte toutes les autres protéines de la table même si ce n'est pas notre commande car le chef distribue à qui veut ce qu'il reste. Ce qui est vraiment top je trouve ! Voilà souvenir mitigé donc. On termine par un dessert gâteau au chocolat bon, pas fait maison & sans doute congelé mais bon. C'est grand & c'est parfait pour des réunions de famille ou entre amis !
Vegan friendly ! Le menu végétarien est en fait aussi végane. Le chef a fait cuire mon repas sur la plaque sans beurre & avant les repas avec viande. Il y a de la soupe miso pour les végés/véganes alors nous ne sommes pas privé de tout ce qui vient en accompagnement avec notre plat. Super service, chef gentil & comprehensif je le recommande à tous !
Un endroit à découvrir!!! Super de bonne nourriture avec une ambiance qui se rapproche d'un spectacle personnalisé, les chefs sont spectaculaire & savent comment faire sourire les nombreux clients autour d'eux! Le repas est succulent & le service est super bon. L'endroit est propre & accueillant. L'ambiance est bonne! Nous avons adoré notre expérience à cet établissement & nous y retournerons! Je recommande!
An absolutely must-have for Japanese food lovers & those that want to give it a try. We did the Teriyaki experience upstairs with live cooking station. Our chef was super entertaining & the hostess so friendly & prompt. Food portions are large & plenty to select from. The dessert options are bit limited, but honestly didnt care because the food was so good, that we have no space for that anyway. The kids menu was really good too for the little ones. I highly recommend this location when in Montreal.
Fun restaurant to come to with a group, especially if it involves children. The chef puts on a good show including a lot of singing pop tunes, throwing around utensils & having fun with fire 🙂. He also throws food for you to catch with your mouth if that's your thing 🤪. Food is average but portions are generous. Would recommend for a special occasion for a group who has a good sense of humour.

C' était une 1ere samedi soir & plutôt contente dans l'ensemble. Le cuisinier fait l'ambiance & mes ados ont été ravis & je le remercie. Mais je trouve trop chère par rapport à la qualité des produits. C' était très banal mais mangeable. Le service était très bien jusqu'au moment de la facture où j ai donné un tips qui n'était pas à la hauteur de la serveuse. Elle est revenue & nous a réprimander comme des enfants. Nous sommes répartis déçus face à sa réaction exagérée, c est bien dommage de finir avec cette image. Je vous rappelle tout de même que les TIPS NE SONT PAS OBLIGATOIRES, juste recommandés, c est donc à l' appréciation du client & peut être de ces moyens. J irai ailleurs la prochaine fois .

Une première expérience pour nous aujourd'hui ! C'était vraiment bien ! Service très attentionné, rien n'a échapper à l'oeil de notre serveuse ! Mike nous a donné un bon show aussi ! Je recommande!
It was almost perfect the food was very good & such but it was cold because of the entrance door there was a sheet place in front of it but it sure doesn't change anything please correct this please & the food is very expensive 205$ pour deux nothing fancy & la machine pour payer tu ne peut pas choisir le montant tu peut seulement choisir 28% en montant la raison selon la serveuse c'est une nouvelle machines excuse moi mais j'ai déjà vu cette machine & en temps normal elle n'est pas comme ça this was the first & last time I'm going there & I sure don't want to recommend to anyone this place
From the moment we reserved, the experience was smooth & easy. The food was tasty & the cooking experience was fun! I would recommend this place. Last but not least we left the place but we forgot something at our table & they quickly called us back so we were able to retrieve our forgotten items 😍😍 Excellent experience
My Hubbybi reserved us this special first time Hibachi fine & fun dinning experience to ring in 2024, & what an amazing night it was! From our chef Steve who kept us highly entertained the entire time, to the fresh, cooked to your liking food tasting divine, we highly recommend giving Beni Hana a try if you haven't had the chance to yet! The only thing I would also suggest, is to try gathering a group of friends or family that know how to have a good time, cause we noticed that customers were kind of killing the vibe when not participating with the coolest chefs they have on both floors! If you wanna be boring & just eat, find a regular restaurant where the chef is hiding in the kitchen instead of just acting bored like he's not giving us his all at the hibachi station. We will be going back with loved ones & we're gonna turn it up!!! Happy New Year Beni Hana & best wishes to all your staff! The cocktails were excellent too! Cheers!
Looking for a fun & different food experience in Montreal? It's a nice place to go for a date, for a family & friend gatherings (I dont recommend going there alone because there are a lot of interactions & you must live these moments with people you know!) Everything on the menu is really good! For the price, you get good quality ingredients, a private chef for your table & a super show (like you see in movies!). I took the tempura plate for the appetizer & for real, the quantity of food their serve you is well enough!
