Service was great & fast, the chef who cooked in front of us was very entertaining & he kept sining some random songs. I will definitely come back
Fun place to have supper & be entertained. Food is delicious & the chefs are always smiling & having a good time while cooking. We had the meat, shrimp & chicken & a nice pina colada. I had a hard time taking a picture of my full plate because I kept eating while the chef was serving because it was so delicious.
Le spectacle du cuisinier était parfait! Merci à John, tu nous as tous bien fait rire! Le repas était goûteux & les portions étaient généreuses. Le chef a fait très attention aux allergies alimentaire à ma fille. Par contre, le détails final qui a fait de mon expérience une déception, c'est lorsqu'il ont voulu nous charger 3$/pers pour la coupe du gâteau pour l'anniversaire à mon fils. Sur une facture de plus de 700$, je pense qu'il n'est pas judicieux d'imposer une telle demande. La raison étant qu'il s'agissait d'un gâteau de l'extérieur & qu'il avait des gâteaux pour les clients. Lorsque nous avons demandé de voir leurs gâteaux ma mère a été choqué de voir les options, portions mais encore plus le prix demandé!!! Bref, je comprend qu'une somme peut- être demandé pour la coupe d'un gâteau venant de l'extérieur mais un frais d'une dizaine de dollars aurai été raisonnable.
Chef oliver nous a mis une belle ambiance ! C'était un bon show! Merci Chef . Nourriture correct . L'attente un peu longue même avec réservation . Serveur reclame plus de tip .. je retournerai pas a cette endroit simplement car nul part on ma demandé pluss de tip. Ca a tout gaché.
Didn't know what to expect but had such an incredible time at Beni Hana! Our Chef Mike was so charming & friendly, he was cracking jokes & did a stellar job in captivating us with his tricks. Food was better than expected, on the heavier side but you could tell all the ingredients were fresh & clean. I had such a wonderful time, the ambience, the performance & the friendly faces are worth coming here alone! It's good to be more social & interactive with those around you, rather than just coming to eat the food.
My Hubbybi reserved us this special first time Hibachi fine & fun dinning experience to ring in 2024, & what an amazing night it was! From our chef Steve who kept us highly entertained the entire time, to the fresh, cooked to your liking food tasting divine, we highly recommend giving Beni Hana a try if you haven't had the chance to yet! The only thing I would also suggest, is to try gathering a group of friends or family that know how to have a good time, cause we noticed that customers were kind of killing the vibe when not participating with the coolest chefs they have on both floors! If you wanna be boring & just eat, find a regular restaurant where the chef is hiding in the kitchen instead of just acting bored like he's not giving us his all at the hibachi station. We will be going back with loved ones & we're gonna turn it up!!! Happy New Year Beni Hana & best wishes to all your staff! The cocktails were excellent too! Cheers!

Looking for a fun & different food experience in Montreal? It's a nice place to go for a date, for a family & friend gatherings (I dont recommend going there alone because there are a lot of interactions & you must live these moments with people you know!) Everything on the menu is really good! For the price, you get good quality ingredients, a private chef for your table & a super show (like you see in movies!). I took the tempura plate for the appetizer & for real, the quantity of food their serve you is well enough!

Food was amazing. Chef was entertaining. Drinks were delicious. Can be awkward sitting next to someone you don't know. I recommend this place for groups of 4 or more.
Show was fun, chef is definitely not Japanese but that is not the big probrem,waitress is doing a good service.
Lobster plate is over priced by the portion.
Shrimp & filet mignon plate is good for the price. tenpura is not the tenpura it is fried calamari. ( if you want to call it tempura,you should serve with "Tsuyu" at least ,not with soy sause)
However what I really felt unhappy for that is people think this is "Japanese food".
As other person mentioned before, what they cooked all of veggies, meet or shrimp is tasted with only by soy sauce...(I think even soy sauce isn't from Japan)there is No dashi No umami.
Real Japanese taste is not like that, As I am a Japanese woman,I wish they serve the food what is more well researched & pursued taste if you called "Japnese cuisine."
