The staff was quick & efficient. My main complaint is we went during a heat wave, & it felt as though there was zero air-conditioning. It was unbearably hot, even our chef was profusely sweating. To note, the seasonings offered for the food are on the blander side. I imagine they do this to please most people as they are cooking for a larger group. I found my scallops & steak were underwhelming. I still liked my experience, would not come back (especially the price tag).
Un endroit à découvrir!!! Super de bonne nourriture avec une ambiance qui se rapproche d'un spectacle personnalisé, les chefs sont spectaculaire & savent comment faire sourire les nombreux clients autour d'eux! Le repas est succulent & le service est super bon. L'endroit est propre & accueillant. L'ambiance est bonne! Nous avons adoré notre expérience à cet établissement & nous y retournerons! Je recommande!
An absolutely must-have for Japanese food lovers & those that want to give it a try. We did the Teriyaki experience upstairs with live cooking station. Our chef was super entertaining & the hostess so friendly & prompt. Food portions are large & plenty to select from. The dessert options are bit limited, but honestly didnt care because the food was so good, that we have no space for that anyway. The kids menu was really good too for the little ones. I highly recommend this location when in Montreal.
Fun restaurant to come to with a group, especially if it involves children. The chef puts on a good show including a lot of singing pop tunes, throwing around utensils & having fun with fire 🙂. He also throws food for you to catch with your mouth if that's your thing 🤪. Food is average but portions are generous. Would recommend for a special occasion for a group who has a good sense of humour.
La seule raison pour laquelle je ne donne pas 5 étoiles à la nourriture, c'est que tout goûte pareil, peu importe l'option, sinon notre chef était génial, il nous a offert un prestation de karaoké en cuisinant, il était énergique, vraiment une expérience qui vaut le détour. Le service était aussi très bien!
Béni Hana est une restaurant japonais ou la cuisson se fait devant vous ! Il est situé à Sherbrooke & vous avez un parking juste devant ! Excellente expérience ! Cela faisait longtemps que j'avais envie de manger devant un chef qui cuisine devant nous & c'était à la hauteur de nos rêves ! Oliver nous a fait un show extraordinaire ! C'est une manière différente d'appréhender la cuisine & cela donne des idées ! & bien sûr on a très bien mangé ce qui ne gâche rien :) ! Je vous laisse découvrir tout cela en image
Super endroit! La nourriture sont super! Cependant, le concept pour avoir le repas complet est un peu long alors la nourriture a le temps de refroidir. Chapeau au chef qui est enthousiaste & drôle. P.s. : ne pas emmener de très jeunes enfants qui pourrait être effrayés par le feu.
Definitely pricey but what a show. I've been to many of these & the chef last time was just absolutely off the charts, literally, he kept signing & we challenged him to take requests, he knew every song from Backstreet boys to the weekend & back to Cindy Lauper, what a champ. They're always good but last time was a real comedy club. We all really enjoyed our evening. Some of the freshest seafood I've had recently. Pricey but memorable.
Loved my first experience here! Service was excellent. Food was excellent. The chef was very entertaining, & great singing skills.😋 Left with a happy tummy so full!!😄 Would definitely go back again!
The food sucks but the entertainment was nice. Everything was just cooked with soy sauce & nothing else. The chef was enthusiastic & did a good job.

Had an amazing time visiting my first time with a group of four! The chef was very exciting to watch prepare our food as well as funny! Little on the high side but the price makes sense when you take into account the show you get & quality of food. Will definitely return in the future.
Compared to a few years ago the food has gotten smaller in portions & have eliminated the tea..the ice cream...the sauces that came with the meal & tonight they even removed the chop suey from the meal...while the prices have increased. Service was good with the chef doing his thing but will we go back? Doubt it.
Bon service clientèle. Si vous arrivez à l'avance, ils vous font patienter au salon jusqu'à ce que votre table soit prête. Il faut s'assurer de recevoir l'entrée avant que le chef démarre les cuissons. Un bon ambiance, le chef est sympathique & drôle. Il y a beaucou de bruit il s'attendre a avoir du plaisir & bien manger malgré le bruit.
Belle accueil, indulgent face à notre retard. Service de Clara impeccable. Chef Ono très divertissant. Assiette généreuse. Resto & toilettes propre.

This was my first time at a restaurant with a chef cooking in front of you in Montreal. The Chef was great at using his cooking for entertainment. The service & atmosphere was excellent. The 3 stars for the food is dedicated to the cake that cost us 7$. It was easily one of the best cake slices I've ever eaten & it was really heavy! It saved the food experience I had here. I felt that the noodles & rice were a bit dry. The steak was a bit chewy for me. I was hoping that the steak would melt in my mouth, but I'm not a connoisseur. The vegetables & chicken were tasty. As a starter, I got coconut shrimp. It was also disappointing. It was dry & the crust was thick. Overall, the experience was fun for the first time. If I come back, it would definitely be because of the cake!
