The churro bites were a fun & crispy addition. Eggs were cooked perfectly, & the seasoning on the home fries was really good (they taste exactly like OEB's wedges if you've been there). The apple sauce tastes like it was made in-house, it was warm & a little more tart than you would find in a grocery store which is right up my alley. The place was packed so it took a little bit for our food to arrive but it was hot & fresh. Would definitely return.
- Runny egg whites,
- toast that is barely toasted,
- cold potatoes.
All this for such increased prices? Not worth it anymore.
I've been coming here for many years, but a recent subtantial drop in food quality will lead me elsewhere.
I would have rated them higher had they not refused to serve me only one poached egg, saying this option is not available on weekends. Blatant cash grab driving food waste. If you're a light eater go elsewhere on weekends.
Went for brunch & got some eggs Benedict with avocado. They were really good but one was a little overcooked. Other than that it was a really good brunch place! Really fast service too.
Very busy breakfast spot; offering discounted breakfast specials before 8:30am. The service was nice, pleasant & speedy. Ordered eggs with crispy bacons. The potatoes were not as crunchy as other branches. The dining environment is smoky. It's nice to have a B & F in downtown that opens early.
The service was good , the waitresses checked-in all the time, but the food was disappointing. I'm not sure if it's only their seasonal beef special options, but it was flavorless. My poached eggs were completely hard cooked. The sauce is tasteless, sad. The best of the plates were the potatoes & the fruit. Maybe try other options.
I often cant decide between sweet & savory breakfast items, & here you dont need to. Its nice to get a sweet crepe, toast, eggs, bacon/sausage, etc. all in one order, but just make sure you are hungry! The poached egg on the eggs benedict was unfortunately cold, like it was prepared in advance & saved until serving. The other eggs were good, as were the potatoes & meats. Waffle was standard. Coffee & tea are included with of if the menu items. The crepes are quite thick here-personally I prefer them thinner. Overall I would recommend B&F for breakfast & brunch, especially with the big portion sizes & variety within orders
Visited during weekday morning. It was quiet & waitress was very attentive. Foods are very good value & the quality has exceeded my expectation for a typical franchise brunch place! Egg yolks on egg benedicts were HUGE (never seen one this big in the US 😂). Food didn't have too much seasoning & I liked it.
Really nice breakfast, massive portions, the only thing is my scrambled eggs were so dry. The sunnyside eggs were perfect, & so was everything else.
Good portions & atmosphere. Inconsistent eggs but overall good breakfast
Breakfast was good. I ordered crispy french toast with caramel apple & Vegetarian 2 Egg skillet. Amazing food. In relative to other breakfast places, it is a little expensive place but worth it. Very crowded, very noisy & congested. You can sit for long as there is a queue of people. Overall a good experience.
Very nice location for large groups, once seated the service is quick. Very polite waiters. Menu was a bit confusing as it was not clearly written if coffee/tea was included with the dishes & there was no specific non-alcoholic menu (had to ask & be referred to an older menu.) But overall very satisfying, but I do wish the had egg Benedicts on the kids menu or some sort of mini menu; like imagine being able to order only half egg Benedicts & then a small order of waffles! I'd be there more often. Oh! & they did have almond milk as an alternative, definitely should be more visible than only when you ask!
NEVER GOING BACK
Went there at lunch time around 12:30 & it was almost 2 by the time we paid our bill!!
It took 10 min to seat us when there was only 20 people in the place. The service was absolutely horrible. They first seat us next to the window beside the heater that was on full blast! We then had to wait to change tables because all of the free tables were not cleared nor cleaned from the people who had already left. The waitress couldn't wait to finish her day....she was slow & seemed like she was in a daze...
The food....was cold. Cold bean, cold potatoes, tepid eggs...ugh!
My advice to the manager/owner is to hire a hostess who can manage the rest & hire at least one busboy to clean the tables. Maybe then I would consider going back.
