Yummy food & friendly service!! Special shoutout to the hostess, Alicia, who has been RUNNING to clean & combine tables for the nonstop flow of customers that have been coming in this morning. She is so hardworking & amazing at her job. She deserves a promotion!!!

From entering B&F it took 40 mins for two servings of oatmeal to arrive. The floor was dirty. Toilets out of order & also dirty. Seemed short staffed with a lack of focus on cleanliness

Ben & Florentine is an all around great choice for breakfast that I'd recommend. They have a large menu with a lot of variety. The hashbrowns are great! One thing I noticed, though, was a lack of vegan options on the menu. I didn't see anything suitable for vegans, but there are a lot of vegetarian choices. The service was really great. Professional & friendly. The atmosphere was nice & the dining area was really clean. The washrooms, though, are up a narrow staircase & are not as nice as the rest of the restaurant, but there is an accessible washroom on the main floor.

"Not my first time there & probably not my last"
As always, the service is pretty good & their lunch menu is well priced. It includes a soup or salad & dessert. The place is noy overcrowded & it is pretty clean. So overall very good

NEVER GOING BACK

Went there at lunch time around 12:30 & it was almost 2 by the time we paid our bill!!

It took 10 min to seat us when there was only 20 people in the place. The service was absolutely horrible. They first seat us next to the window beside the heater that was on full blast! We then had to wait to change tables because all of the free tables were not cleared nor cleaned from the people who had already left. The waitress couldn't wait to finish her day....she was slow & seemed like she was in a daze...
The food....was cold. Cold bean, cold potatoes, tepid eggs...ugh!

My advice to the manager/owner is to hire a hostess who can manage the rest & hire at least one busboy to clean the tables. Maybe then I would consider going back.
