Excellent chicken shawarma made with fresh, quality ingredients. The toum sauce is very good as well. The trio for 10.99 is one of the best value meals in town.
The service is great too.
Finally, an authentic Lebanese fast-food restaurant where you truly feel like you're in Lebanon. The food is fresh, flavorful, & made with authentic ingredients that bring back the real taste of Lebanese street food. The meat is absolutely amazing, tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned, & cooked to perfection. From the shawarma to the garlic sauce & fresh bread, every bite feels genuine. The atmosphere, service, & attention to detail make the experience even better. If you're looking for real Lebanese flavors in Montreal, Beï is a must try!
Generational Shawarma. Crispiest Saj Bread known to man, juiciest cuts of beef, & garlic sauce not from this Earth. It would be a shame to come to Montréal & miss this.
Food was really good. The place was clean, & the ingredients looked fresh. It felt like an authentic Lebanese shawarma spot with the classic pickles, fries, chicken, & garlic sauce.
I ordered the pita sandwich for $11. It was a good size, & the chicken was ok but nothing special on the marination/ chicken spices.. The garlic sauce is a personal preference, but for me it was a bit too garlicky & overpowered the chicken flavour. Pita bread was fresh.
Overall, a good spot & worth trying. A smile from the people behind the counter would make a big difference by the way! 😉😁
The shawarma chicken wrap was so good, ask for extra crispy is even better. Needed a bit more sauce in the middle but was very tasty. The French fries were so crispy & tasty!
Oh my, where do I even begin. The halloumi wrap is to die for. Everything is so fresh: the salad is so good, the halloumi fries with the sweet sauces is unbeatable. I think this might be my new fav spot. A special shoutout to the manager/ owner for his great surface & making it with so much love!!
I had a classic chicken shawarma wrap. It was very delicious. The garlic sauce is not overpowering. The whole sandwich was very well balanced.
The store is so new & beautiful.
Right in the heart of downtown Montreal - prime spot for university & college students - & I have to say, I was genuinely pleasantly surprised.
First off, major credit for the marketing & design. Everything felt thoughtfully done. The colors, the wallpaper, the art, even the layout - it all works. You walk in, there's stairs to the right leading upstairs for more seating, a beautiful arza (Lebanese cedar) feature that immediately gives you that cultural nod, the shawarma spits front & center, & a super clean counter. The owner was working when I went, which I always appreciate.
I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first - there are so many shawarma spots in Montreal, & not all of them are truly shawarma. But everything looked fresh, & it delivered.
I ordered the chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, chicken sandwich, & the za'atar fries with sauce.
The za'atar fries were excellent - honestly a highlight. Great seasoning, great flavour.
Ranking-wise, I'd say:
1. Beef shawarma
2. Chicken shawarma
3. Chicken sandwich
The beef was my favourite - really solid. The chicken shawarma was pretty authentic (& I say this as someone Lebanese), though for my personal taste it had a bit too much toum (garlic sauce), & I would've liked a bit more tang to balance it. I did get it extra crispy, which I'd recommend. Loved that they include fries inside the sandwich - that classic touch.
Location-wise, downtown isn't my favourite because it's always jam-packed, but that's part of the vibe.
Overall, I really enjoyed it & will definitely be back. Great execution, thoughtful branding, & genuinely good shawarma. Well done.
Really nice, I always come here for the cheap pita trio (11,50$). It is a bit dry, but that's because there isn't enough sauce, & honestly the fries make up for it anyway. Their fries sauce is lovely. For the price, I'm not complaining.
Unfortunately, this was the worst chicken shawarma I've had. The chicken was very dry, the garlic sauce had a bitter taste, & the beef was only slightly better. I also found the prices quite high for the quality. I purchased 4 trios & 2 chicken sandwiches for a total of $109
