Honestly, I was really impressed with the food. Everything tasted fresh & super flavorful. The beef shawarma was easily one of the best I've had in Montreal, & I've tried a lot of spots. The halloumi & fattoush were just as good, everything felt well made.

On top of that, the customer service was great. The staff were friendly, welcoming, & made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're into shawarma.

Right in the heart of downtown Montreal - prime spot for university & college students - & I have to say, I was genuinely pleasantly surprised.

First off, major credit for the marketing & design. Everything felt thoughtfully done. The colors, the wallpaper, the art, even the layout - it all works. You walk in, there's stairs to the right leading upstairs for more seating, a beautiful arza (Lebanese cedar) feature that immediately gives you that cultural nod, the shawarma spits front & center, & a super clean counter. The owner was working when I went, which I always appreciate.

I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first - there are so many shawarma spots in Montreal, & not all of them are truly shawarma. But everything looked fresh, & it delivered.

I ordered the chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, chicken sandwich, & the za'atar fries with sauce.

The za'atar fries were excellent - honestly a highlight. Great seasoning, great flavour.

Ranking-wise, I'd say:
1. Beef shawarma
2. Chicken shawarma
3. Chicken sandwich

The beef was my favourite - really solid. The chicken shawarma was pretty authentic (& I say this as someone Lebanese), though for my personal taste it had a bit too much toum (garlic sauce), & I would've liked a bit more tang to balance it. I did get it extra crispy, which I'd recommend. Loved that they include fries inside the sandwich - that classic touch.

Location-wise, downtown isn't my favourite because it's always jam-packed, but that's part of the vibe.

Overall, I really enjoyed it & will definitely be back. Great execution, thoughtful branding, & genuinely good shawarma. Well done.

In very recent years we went from zero good shawarma in Montreal to quite an extensive selection, but BEI is just AMAZING!! The beef shawarma with grilled saj bread is insanely good!

If you're looking for one of the best - if not *the* best - Lebanese restaurants in Montreal, Bei is a must-try.

I tried the beef shawarma saj & the chicken shawarma saj, & both were absolutely outstanding. The saj was perfectly crispy on the outside while staying soft & warm inside. The portions were generous, filled with juicy, flavorful beef & chicken.
The toum was divine - creamy, garlicky, & the perfect complement. You can truly taste the freshness in every bite.

The ambiance makes it even more special. Lebanese songs playing in the background truly give you a taste of Beirut right here in Montreal. It feels warm, vibrant, & authentic - like a little escape to Lebanon.

An amazing experience overall. Highly recommend for anyone craving high-quality Lebanese food & a true Lebanese vibe!

Unfortunately, this was the worst chicken shawarma I've had. The chicken was very dry, the garlic sauce had a bitter taste, & the beef was only slightly better. I also found the prices quite high for the quality. I purchased 4 trios & 2 chicken sandwiches for a total of $109

I saw their restaurant from a review on TikTok from EveryEatsPossivle so I figured why not give it a try.
I can say 100% after eating here, it was so worth trying.

The owner & staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful, the interior decor was both stunning & clean but mostly importantly, the food was delicious.

I took 2 different pitas that the owner recommended, the beef bei pita & batata pita.

The beef bei no joke was definitely one of the best beef pitas I've ever had, the seasonings & juiciness from the beef mixed in with the sauce & other condiments made it worth every penny spent.

As for the batata, my best comparison to it is a cream cheese vegetable sandwich but turned into a pita, they even added zaatar chips which gave it an extra bit of crunch.

On top of all that, they have a nice 10$ pita trio deal & even discounts if you are a Concordia student.

So overall this place is awesome, if you haven't had their food yet, then I highly recommend to try it at least once.

Had it 3 times to perfect my review. Second day it opened, last week, & today. Had 3 different things. Chicken is very very dry. Beef is a bit better but still on the drier & saltier end for shawarma. Bei style is awesome. Love the sauce. Their crispy shawarma makes it a lot better. Without the bei style & without crispy pita/saj it's mediocre. Good student discounts!

Absolutely loved our experience. The food was fresh, flavourful, & beautifully prepared. The crispy chicken & beef shawarma were incredibly delicious-perfectly seasoned & cooked just right. Their homemade pineapple mint lime juice was unbelievably refreshing & paired perfectly with the meal.

The service was warm & attentive from start to finish, & the atmosphere is cozy, modern, & welcoming. Definitely one of Montreal's must-try spots. Highly recommend!

I give this place 3 stars :
I have had crispy Saj with garlic potato, the beef was okay but the sandwich itself lacks taste to be honest , the potatoes were not the best. It's your average shawarma place.
I have seen the tiktoks & I have had higher expectations, I wouldn't be back here.
On the other hand the service is good & the place is very clean

It was my first visit today, I ordered a chicken & beef Shawerma & Laban Ayran yogurt drink, I found the sandwiches to be very dry almost no sauce inside. As for the drink, I'm not sure they know how to do it because it was so thick that you can't even sip it out of the straw. Overall it's okay but nothing special.
