J'adore ce café ! Je le recommande à 100%. Le café & les plats sont excellents (à goûter absolument les café vietnamien : egg coffee), l'ambiance est très apaisante avec le fond de musique. & le service est très agréables ;) J'y vais personnellement pour travailler c'est super !

I stopped by Bêden on Laurier Street ton a Monday morning. The place itself is cute, with a nice, cozy vibe, quiet for a Monday, which made it perfect for a calm coffee break.
I had a filtered coffee, which was quite good, smooth & well-balanced. While I was there, the lady behind the counter was baking something that wasn't exactly a bagel, but more like a soft dough filled with cheese & vegetables, eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms, & cheese. The smell was incredible, & the taste was even better.
Overall, it's a cute spot for a quiet coffee & a little homemade treat.

Great drinks, food, decor & overall vibes.

Had the Vietnamese iced coffee with egg - just the right amount of sweetness & creaminess.
Also tried the banh mi nem, the bread was perfectly toasted & the flavours were well balanced.

The staff were also so friendly & welcoming. Will definitely be back!

Great drinks, food, & service. We caught Be, the owner, on a slower day & she chatted with us for a while on Montréal must do's.

The egg coffee & matcha were amazing & the Banh mi was made with fresh ingredients. Try it out!

What a great coffee shop! You can bring your laptop to study or work here, there's plugs everywhere available & free WiFi. There's so much variety offered for every kind of taste buds, but I came specifically to try their signature Vietnamese egg coffee. It was great & definitely hit the spot. Then out of nowhere, a pianist started playing, changing from one tune to the next seamlessly, it was such a vibe!

We got the pâté chaud & the veggie soup as appetizers. I highly recommend the pâté chaud, it's soooo flavorful. The soup had a good coriander taste.

Good combination of many flavors in the tofu bánh mì. The outer bread is crispy contrasting the moisture & the juicyness of the filling inside.

Same thing for the Bêgels (we got Nem bêgel), it's an unexpected but delicious'fusion' of Vietnamese flavors with Montreal bagel, so good!

We got the hojicha latte & the Vietnamese egg coffee, so good & creamy!

They also sell snacks, teas, & Vietnamese coffee (instant, beans, grounded).

Nice, cute & cozy ambiance. I like the decoration with nón lá, good representation of Vietnam.

I absolutely loved my experience at Beden Caphe! Their new breakfast menu is amazing-my favorites were the fluffy bêgels with Vietnamese sausages, BBQ pork, & Italian charcuterie, plus the buttery croissant with homemade Vietnamese charcuterie. The drinks were just as incredible, especially the Vietnamese egg latté & matcha white chocolate.
The owner is the sweetest person ever-so warm & caring, she made sure everything was perfect. If you're in Montreal, you have to check out this spot at 1708 Laurier Ave E. Highly recommend!

I had a blast visiting this space - whether I came with a group of friends, or on a date, or just by myself - the service, atmosphere, & food has consistently remained first class~ The viet cappucino with egg is divine, & the bao burgers are both quaint & filling~!! The interior decor & furnishing are welcoming, & very comfortable as well. There's even a grand piano if you want to play some keys~ 10/10 highly recommend!

This cafe is a gem! The pork buns are delicious, the papaya salad is fresh & flavorful, & the Vietnamese egg coffee is a must-try. Don't miss the poutine-it's a fantastic fusion of Quebec & Vietnam that's totally unique. Plus, the staff are super friendly! Highly recommend!

Let me start by saying that the owner is the sweetest human being. She's so funny, caring & makes sure your food is good. I tried the new breakfast menu with the bêgel. I tried all five of them (cochonne,nem de linh, tuna, ciao bella & figue-cotta) & oh my god they are so good & fresh! My favorites were ciao bella, cochonne & figue-cotta. Also tried the pâté sô de bê & it was so flaky & flavorful. For the drinks, I tried the hot chocolate with grilled marshmallows, white hot chocolate with candy cane & salted caramel viet câphé latte with egg & they were all delicious. For sure I will visit this place again!

Such a cutee & cozzy Vietnamese restaurant!!! I got egg coffee, vermicelli & also tried a bite from tofu banh mi. They were so good!! The tofu banh mi was surprisingly delicious:) we were planning to order another egg coffee but unfortunately they ran out :(

There are no shortage of great cafes in Montrèal, & among them, Bêden Càphê stands out as the crown jewel. 💎 From the attentive service, to the delicious food & drink, to the unique atmosphere & decor, this place has it all. The owner is a warm & welcoming woman who works diligently & is a joy to talk to. ☺️ Treat yourself & pop inside to hang out with a friend or stay & work. You'll be glad you did! P.s. I had the warming wonton soup, egg coffee, & pandan tea. For those of you that like the earthy flavors found in barley tea or pu'er, pandan is in a similar taste bracket & I'd eagerly get both again. ✨️👌

It's hard to not fall in love with the charm of Bêden Càphê. From the decor, to the food & to the welcoming staff, this place will easily become your go-to coffee shop. I have tasted multiple coffee styles, drinks, meals: they are all tasty & provide that comforting sensation. I love that it is family friendly with a chill cozy vibe. It is also a great place to sit & work at. You can also feel that the staff, especially Bê cares for her customers. She will learn your name & will remember your order for the next time. I highly recommend to go in the morning & get your hands on the croissant bánh mì. I could basically it that every morning. Their signature egg coffee & bê matcha are delicious, but I would also recommend to try the taro fog. You won't be disappointed!

A very beautifully & elaborately decorated cafe including a snack wall, vintage couches, & a fully functional piano (which someone played very well while I was there). I immediately tried the first Banh Mi sandwich on the menu & enjoyed every mouth-watering, delectable bite of it. Of course, I washed it down with a coffee. This is the first time I've had Vietnamese coffee with egg. I don't even usually drink coffee, but I absolutely loved this & tried to recreate it at home later the same day. (with limited success 😅) I was very satisfied after that glorious sandwich & coffee, but I needed to try more, so I went for the Matcha Taro iced tea. Quality matcha with a deep, vivid flavor & a lovely taro cream. Since we have an obsessive need to try as many places as possible, it's unusual for us to return to an establishment, but this one made it to the go-to list of cafés.

Okay... I grew up around Vietnamese food & I visited Vietnam back in 2018. Imagine my excitement when I discovered this newly opened Vietnamese cafe this year! I only had an egg coffee which was delicious! My friend ordered the banh-mi & he said it is better than his favourite Vietnamese banh-mi place at jean-talon. The food is close to authentic, so I'm over the moon. It's a bit far from where Iive, so I can't come often. Whenever I pass by this neighborhood, I'll definitely stop by this place to grab something to eat.
