Omg, je suis en amour avec ce café. J'ai pris la soupe porc char siu & le café glacé vietnamien, & c'était PARFAIT. J'ai habité en Asie pendant un moment &, depuis mon retour à Montréal, c'est la première fois que je retrouve les saveurs authentiques & goûteuses qui me manquent tant. 10/10!

I went the first time there in December for a cup of Vietnamese coffee & a tiramisu. As I really enjoyed the experience & I returned with a group of friends & I tried the best wonton soup of Montreal & some Vietnamese sweets. Last week, I tried a banh mi & it exceeded all my expectations. The owner & her staff are very nice & they are always ready to help you when one doesn't know the Vietnamese gastronomy (my case). I highly recommend this coffee shop!

I've been to Bê ?en Caphê a couple of times now & it's quickly becoming one of my favorite cozy spots. The decor is super cute & playful, & it's such a fun place to catch up with friends or just treat yourself on a solo date.

On my first visit, I went straight for the spicy pork bánh mì… it was huge, messy in the best way, & so satisfying with crispy toasted bread, juicy flavorful meat, crunchy veggies, & a nice hit of heat from fresh peppers. Their Vietnamese iced coffee was exactly how I like it… sweet, strong, & smooth. Perfect balance.

More recently I was invited back for their fall menu tasting, & it felt like the perfect seasonal pick-me-up. The Vietnamese coffee pumpkin spice (loved the hot version!) was bold & cozy with all the warm spices. On the sweet side, the Lotus Biscoff waffle is a must-try & the apple & cinnamon waffle gave that nostalgic fall-snack feeling.

For savory bites, the pork char siu soup was hearty & comforting, while the imperial roll & fried wontons were crisp, golden, & paired beautifully with their sauces.

Delicious food, a gorgeous spot, & they even have live music at times (they sometimes have a pianist come play)… definitely the kind of cozy restaurant I love coming back to.

Nous avons choisit ce café pour l'option matcha / repas en une seule place .
La soupe étais 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
mais le matcha bien décevant … il goûtais l'eau , très dilué & qualité du matcha incertaine mais si j'en juge à la couleur & au goût … bof bof bof . Je ne retournerais certainement pas là pour un matcha 🥴

Mais la nourriture était très bonne .

We got the pâté chaud & the veggie soup as appetizers. I highly recommend the pâté chaud, it's soooo flavorful. The soup had a good coriander taste.

Good combination of many flavors in the tofu bánh mì. The outer bread is crispy contrasting the moisture & the juicyness of the filling inside.

Same thing for the Bêgels (we got Nem bêgel), it's an unexpected but delicious'fusion' of Vietnamese flavors with Montreal bagel, so good!

We got the hojicha latte & the Vietnamese egg coffee, so good & creamy!

They also sell snacks, teas, & Vietnamese coffee (instant, beans, grounded).

Nice, cute & cozy ambiance. I like the decoration with nón lá, good representation of Vietnam.

This coffee shop was suggested by a friend & it did not disappoint. From the moment you step in, you're welcomed with a cozy atmosphere & an inviting vibe that makes you feel right at home. The menu- I feel - has a little something for everyone. I was there for a coffee ended up trying a soup & a Pattie, the variety of drinks, light bites & full meal options is well balanced & not overdone! The staff are warm & attentive, adding to the delightful experience. I explained I was lactose intolerant (yes I'm that annoying person) & I was still able to get a really yummy matcha tea! A true gem! I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend for lunch date or coffee lovers!!

WONDERFUL CAFE. There are no shortage of great cafes in Montrèal, & among them, Bêden Càphê stands out as the crown jewel. 💎 From the attentive service, to the delicious food & drink, to the unique atmosphere & decor, this place has it all. The owner is a warm & welcoming woman who works diligently & is a joy to talk to. ☺️ Treat yourself & pop inside to hang out with a friend or stay & work. You'll be glad you did! P.s. I had the warming wonton soup, egg coffee, & pandan tea. For those of you that like the earthy flavors found in barley tea or pu'er, pandan is in a similar taste bracket & I'd eagerly get both again. ✨️👌

Looking for a taste of Little Saigon? This is the spot! Just one look at the décor, & you'll know you've stepped into the right place-it's like being transported straight to Vietnam. The service is exactly what you'd expect from a cozy coffee shop, making you feel right at home. & when Bé is working, forget about it! She's full of energy, always smiling, & somehow makes everything better. Now, let's talk about the food. Best Paté Chô in town, hands down. & their soups? Pure Vietnamese comfort. As for the drinks... good luck trying to sample them all! They've got everything-regular coffee, special coffee, bubble tea-you name it. You'll need a whole week just to try them all, but hey, challenge accepted, right?

Une perle rare! Si vous cherchez une véritable expérience culinaire à Montréal, ne cherchez pas plus loin que ce café charmant. Dès que vous franchissez la porte, l'atmosphère chaleureuse & accueillante vous transporte directement. Leur spécialité ? Les bols vietnamiens, qui sont tout simplement exquis. Chaque bouchée est une explosion de saveurs, avec des ingrédients frais & de qualité. Les banh mi, quant à eux, sont parfaitement équilibrés : croustillants, savoureux & généreusement garnis. Mais ce qui m'a vraiment impressionné, ce sont les soupes. La wonton est un incontournable, riche en arômes & réconfortante à souhait. Le service est également à la hauteur, avec un personnel attentionné & passionné par la cuisine qu'il sert. En résumé, ce café vietnamien est sans conteste le meilleur de Montréal. Une adresse à ne pas manquer pour tous les amateurs de cuisine vietnamienne !

BEDEN Caphe is gr8t place to be at " Le petit Laurier" neighborhood. They have great coffee, buble tea, sandwich's, soups & desserts that is derived from the strong roots of Vietnamese culture. The owner Diane & her staff team are very welcoming & make sure to feel you part of the family. Side story: this place used to be a traditional Vietnamese restaurant back then that was founded by Diane's mother & she still around helping out. The place is very artsy & you feel being part of the community. I would recommend it to anyone who is curious & willing to give it a try. ☝️ 🙏 😋 👍 ❤️

Intrigués par la nouveauté du lieu & les reviews, nous nous sommes décidés à y aller & nous faire notre propre expérience. Grand bien nous en a pris car c'est très inégal par rapport à ce qu'on peut lire dans les avis laissés ici. C'est à s'en poser des questions... Les points positifs : les boissons sont bonnes, les banh mi aussi mais pas certaine qu'ils valent les 14$ demandés (hors taxe & hors tips) ! Les pâtés chauds sont souvent bons mais la recette semble être inégale d'un jour à l'autre. Globalement il y a un problème de flux. Assurez vous d'avoir du temps devant vous pour commander à la seule caisse proposée & que la faim n'est pas trop pressante car il va falloir vous armer de patience pour que votre commande soit prise. Une fois, on a cherché à en savoir un peu plus sur une des soupes proposées au menu. On nous a raconté toute l histoire de famille de la personne qui nous a servi mais à aucun moment elle n'a su nous décrire la soupe en question. Ça manque de professionnalisme... Le staff est inexpérimenté & semble ne pas avoir été formé. Par exemple, ils ne savent pas ce qu'il y a sur la carte : on demande un café viet, ils ne comprennent pas! On est obligé de leur dire que c est sur la carte. La commande se fait au comptoir & on s'installe en salle mais les tables n'ont pas été nettoyées. Il faut le réclamer au staff qui est déjà dépassé par les commandes. Ils sont pourtant nombreux mais l'efficacité n'est pas au rendez-vous. La patronne montre de la bienveillance auprès de ses clients. En revanche vis à vis de son staff... elle sous-entend ouvertement aux clients qu'elle est la seule à travailler dans son établissement. C'est un drôle de management! On aimerait que sa « bienveillance » se reflète également dans son équipe. La décoration est tres instagrammable mais malheureusement trop chargée, sans unité. On a du mal à comprendre où on a voulu nous transporter. Conclusion : Nourriture 5/10 Boissons 6/10 Service 2/10 On a la volonté de soutenir les commerces locaux quand le service en vaut le prix indiqué & on y est retourné à plusieurs reprises pour leur laisser leur chance. Malheureusement, ce n'est pas à la hauteur pour le quartier. C'est les prix du quartier sans la qualité & le service.

J'ai adoré la soupe wong tong ainsi que le bahn mi au porc. C'était un par hasard que j'étais dans le coin. Je vous le conseille fortement. Prochaine fois à essayer les bubble tea !
