Manger chez Beauty's, c'est faire un petit saut dans le temps. On y lunch sans prise de tête. Les patates sautées sont réussies à chaque fois & le sandwich BBM - salami, oeuf & cheddar sur pain challah est parfait.
Amazing brunch at beauty's. The service was top notch & the food was fresh & delicious. Get the special!
I was a dedicated Beauty's regular back in the 90s. Today brunch for my 10 year old son, 6 year old daughter & me was 80 dollars, very very rushed, waiters took plates we weren't finished with & brought us the bill while we were eating, very scabby with coffee refills. Probably not the case for people who can afford to be regulars. Tasty though. Very tasty. Tiny portions, had to feed my kids again at home. Goodbye Beauty's! I loved you but there are far more generous friendlier places for brunch in this city!
From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be beyond exceptional. The owners acknowledged us & waited a few short minutes before we were seated. The service exemplifies why they have been a success for 8 decades. Gordon Ramsey would be delighted to dine here. We know we will be more than happy to return there.
Stopped by for breakfast this morning. Overall, it was pretty good. Since we were a larger party (booths saved for 3-6 people), we were able to get right in. The service was excellent, especially regarding refilling drinks. They would come out periodically to top off water & coffee, which was great. Once we ordered the food, it came out pretty quick. The food was pretty good, but not great compared to other diners we have been to.
Just a great Montreal diner/institution. Service is super friendly & always with a smile. Get the mish-mash, comes with a st Viateur Bagel. It's a scrambled egg mashup with onions, salami, & hot dogs - paired with potatoes. The orange juice is fresh squeezed too! Lots of photos on the walls of famous people who have been there. Just a great experience!
Food comforting but not original. Oversold. Nice experience but not worth lineup.
Typical diner with a modern healthier twist. Jewish/American cuisine. The orange juice is freshly made & the coffee is meh!
