Sans entrer dans les détails, on m'a fait attendre les couverts pendant près de 15 minutes, alors que je les avais demandés aux serveurs. J'ai ensuite réclamé des serviettes, entre autres choses… Je ne recommande absolument pas cet endroit, & je ne lui attribue qu'une étoile, car il n'y a pas moins.
Terrible service. They serve everything half-portioned & don't pay attention to you, as if we were asking for free food. It seemed like the waiters didn't want to serve us at all... & they take forever to bring our food & then get angry when we ask them. I'm never going back. A very bad experience on Valentine's Day.
Première fois & dernière fois chez BR. Je m'attendais à un très bon repas & j'ai été très déçue. J'ai commandé le trio, côté levées, poulet, crevettes servi avec frites. On dirait que tout ce qu'il avait dans l'assiette c'était des frites avec de la sauce. Crevettes vraiment trop cuite qui baignaient dans la sauce BBQ, idem pour le poulet que je n'arrivais pas a couper avec le couteau. Le côtes levées étaient bonne mais rien d'exceptionnel. Ce n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur de la réputation & surtout au prix demandé (facture pour 2 personnes à 220$) pour les assiettes. Je mettrais un pot de sauce bbq a côté de l'assiette au lieu de tout mettre dans l'assiette.
J'ai été client longtemps, mais la ça va faire. Service extrêmement lent, serveur distrait & dépassé, aucunement attentionné. Le burger à $23 sec, trop cuit, & sans intérêt. Cotes levées de toute évidence trop cuites. Frites trop salées. 20 minutes pour avoir ma facture & payer. Très mauvais début de soirée avant notre spectacle à la Place des Arts
Décevant, surtout que le resto a déjà été bien. Le cartier des spectacles mérite un effort de votre part.
I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. We were excited to try for the first time after a show on a Sunday early evening.
When we were seated, the restaurant was less than half empty. We sat for about 25 mins without a seeing a single server to take our order. Perhaps this might be understandable, maybe they were shortstaffed, it happens. What is NOT understandable is the employee who sat us came & took the order of the table next to us who was seated 15-20 mins AFTER us, looks at us & says'someone will be with you shortly' as if we hadn't already been waiting for 30 mins...
The waiting can be understood but this kind of service is just unpleasant enough that we had to leave & go elsewhere (where by the way, we entered, ordered, ate, & left all less than an hour an a half). Not sure which kinds of guests they prefer to serve but maybe best to avoid going & finding it out isn't you.
Restaurant avec une belle ambiance conviviale. Pas une très grande cuisine mais ils font de très bonnes ribs. Nous avons eux un très bon service avec Zoé qui était toujours à notre attention & qui venait nous parler.

Had a bad experience at another Baton Rouge, & decided to give it another shot. My parents & I went for happy hour only to sit down, order drinks & then be told happy hour is only if you sit at the bar….would have been nice if someone told us before. The food also came out ridiculously fast which is also concerning. The food itself was fine. Although the dessert was not at all how it was pictured. Disappointed overall for the price.

My wife, my daughter & I decided to travel from Laval to Baton Rouge at Complexe Desjardins on New Year's Eve by public transit. We finally tried the new Rem & walked the whole underground to get to Baton Rouge before 6pm to enjoy their happy hour. Welll, unfortunately, after being seated in the dining room at 5:25pm, we were told only the bar area gets the happy hour. & of course now there was no seats available in bar area. Ironic that just 2 months ago we were served happy hour drinks in the dining area at Baton Rouge in Anjou. Then comes the menu, we were so excited to try their famous chicken tenders but for some reason, it wasn't on their menu. They also didn't have the chicken sandwich, nor the chicken burger. Many things that were on their website menu (checked before we left) was missing on the menu. Besides that, we were astonished on how we just ordered & yet we got all three plates of food in literally minutes, which is impossible to have cooked meat & burgers that quickly. But yet the burger was cold & mashed potatoes were warm. Something just doesn't add up. Must of been precooked. It tasted like it also.
& finally comes the dessert, which sure didn't look like the photos on the menu. The apple pecane dessert was totally different from the pics. Especially the choco espresso tarte which was still frozen when we got it. That wasn't a light creamy mousse. It was hard like a rock.
It sure was a memorable New Year's Eve dinner!
Wanted to try this place again with my friends, see if the service improved over the years & If I could I'd give zero stars the service is incredibly slow waited around 20 minutes just for the server to show up & another 20 for him to take the order when the food came not only was it burnt but also cold I mean cmon people are paying & yall serve prison food here or what it's not a McDonald & even McDonald's serves hot food. Food was completely cold burnt & unedible. With food & drinks the total was way too high for the quality of service & food we received. Atmosphere of your typical sports bar nothing more. My question is how do yall have the audacity to serve this to clients for this price. Will not be coming back here truly disappointing experience.
