Whether it’s our legendary ribs or our tender steaks, we do not compromise on taste: all of our meals are prepared on site and are made only of high-quality ingredients.
Overall, patrons describe Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar as a reliable, welcoming spot with generous portions, a menu with good variety including seafood, ribs, steak, and vegetarian options, along with desserts and drinks that many find satisfying. Service is repeatedly described as warm, attentive, and efficient, helping make visits enjoyable and often leading to return trips; a consistent theme across reviews is a comfortable modern setting that suits family dinners and game nights, though some notes point to occasional drawbacks such as poor lighting in booths, unisex bathrooms, and a few dishes or desserts that did not meet expectations. In general the value is seen as solid due to large portions and quality ingredients, with the experience reinforced by dependable staff and the sense of hospitality that keeps guests coming back.
Service was great but the food left a lot to be desired. I shared the calamari with my wife & it was chewy like a rubber band. She ordered the chicken salad & it was a little undercooked, she couldn't eat it. I order the black cod & there was literally no seasoning, not even salt & half the brussel sprouts were undercooked & hard. Was our first visit to this location, not sure if we'll go back though unfortunately.

I have gone to this Baton Rouge a few times in the past year.
I had the seafood linguine, my friend had the steak. The food was great, as usual. Service was wonderful.
Unfortunately, the lighting is very poor in the booths, so I had difficulty seeing the menu.
The washrooms are unisex.

I was at Baton Rouge in Lasalle on April 29th with my mom & a friend celebrating my mom's birthday. Patrice our waiter was very polite & tentative to our needs & my mom's allergies. Everything was tasty & the portions were more than enough. Thanks again.
