On constate la cuisine transformée en cruising bar sur le party & on craint le repas qui s'en vient. Le steak de bonne qualité a été surexposé aux flammes & goûte uniquement la fumée. Des légumes trop cuits c'est pas bon mais ceux qui nous sont servis sont pratiquement crus & sans goût. Le boeuf braisé est très bon mais la pièce de viande comporte énormément de gras. Le potage parmentier est tiède & la soupe aux oignons goûte seulement la bière & le sel. Les patates pilées sont très bonnes. La patate fourrée toute garnie n'a absolument aucun goût. On regarde passer des cotes lèves pour les autres clients & on regrette amèrement d'avoir exploré autre choix. 1- BR Ville Mont-Royal 2- BR West Island 3- BR Laval 4- BR Complexe Desjardins 5- BR Québec & la margre d'erreur d'un a l'autre est très mince. J'encouragerai encore fortement ces établissements. Depuis le peu de temps que LaSalle est ouvert, j'ai pour la première fois un gros doute quant a la véracité du nombre abondant de commentaires positifs. Il y a une culture ?a cet établissement qui ne ment pas. Je suis désolé de devoir dire ce qu'il en est. Si nous n'avons pas visité BR 50 fois depuis 1992 environ, je serais très surpris. Cette fois ci est la seule visite déficiente mais cette fois c'est peu dire.
We were a party of 8 (4 adults, 4 teens) who decided to try out the relatively new Baton Rouge location in Ville LaSalle on 28-Nov. for the first time. We were impressed by the topnotch & attentive service provided by our server Krysta. Our orders ran the gamut from burgers, ribs, steaks, & chicken tenders' salad with a few appetizers included for good measure. Everything was delicious with one of our ravenous teen boys hugely impressed by the enormous mound of tasty fries accompanying his rack of ribs, along with the complimentary soda refills. Once small quibble might be with respect to the portion size of the calamari; tasty but for a $21 appetizer it would have been nice to have a bit more generous portion for the price. The ambiance was a plus as well with the background music low enough to allow for conversation at normal volumes across the large round table. The hostess was equally pleasant & stopped by our table to inquire if everything was to our liking. All in all, a very satisfying meal. We purchased gift cards on the way out & we'll definitely be back for a repeat visit in the New Year!
Un vrai coup de foudre gustatif ! La viande était si tendre que j'ai failli lui demander en mariage. Mention spéciale à la sauce au poivre : elle a déclenché un feu d'artifice dans ma bouche, je suis encore ému rien qu'en y repensant.
L'ambiance ? Parfaite. Lumières tamisées, musique de fond pile au bon volume : assez pour profiter d'une conversation, mais pas assez pour couvrir mes « mmmh » de satisfaction toutes les trois bouchées.
& puis Max, le manager… Quel personnage ! Son sourire & ses petites blagues ont ajouté la cerise sur le steak.
Nice restaurant, very good food. We love our steak. Very tender & juicy . Server is very knowledgeable to match our steak with the red. Atmosphere was ok, not too fancy but enough clean & cozy. Highly recommend
Nice location. Friendly service. I ordered a steak black & blue. The kitchen went a little too far trying to blacken it with a torch maybe? I don't recommend asking for black & blue or Chicago blue or Philadelphia blue. The fries were good & crispy.
We went to this wonderful Baton Rouge this Sunday. The restaurant was very busy. The hostess was so nice to us, & we ask for our favorite waiter, yoram. The steaks were as good as usual, & the ribs were perfect.
We wanted to make a quick review because we see how hard everyone is working & we need to thank all of you.

Bâton Rouge was a great experience! Great steaks & amazing services. Highly recommend the Spinach Dip.
My husband & I dined at Baton Rouge Lasalle on our last evening in Montreal. Our server, Anthony was exceptional as was the food. We shared our favorite appetizer, Spinach Dip, which never disappoints. Our steaks were done to perfection, a perfect medium rare & of course, the fries with their signature peppercorn sauce is a must for me. The Baton Rouge Restaurant is our go to place to eat when I am home in Halifax. It is so nice to see the consistency with their food from one restaurant to another. Keep up the fantastic work guys!!
This was my first time at this location. The steaks were prime (no chewy bits) & prepared as per order. The service was top-notch; attentive without being annoying. Seriously, it was an excellent night out!
Went for a friends birthday dinner & were sadly disappointed. The wait time was very long, steak was dry & seemed of poor quality, multiple errors made on our order & we even sent the side of mushrooms back (which I never do) because they tasted like dirt. The staff were nice but just not what you would expect from Baton Rouge
J'adore cette chaine de restaurant, mais je vais avouer avoir été déçu de la succursale de Lasalle. Mon steak était trop cuit (genre bien cuit quand j'ai demandé medium/saignant), les légumes étaient carrément crus & la pomme de terre garnie n'avait presque pas de garnitures & en plus, tout était seché. Toutefois, notre serveuse était très gentille, attentionnée & souriante! Nous sommes peut-être tombé sur un mauvais soir, mais notre expérience nous a un peu refroidi. Dommage, nous étions tellement content d'avoir un Bâton Rouge dans le quartier.
I went to baton rouge on my own on a Thursday night. It was a nice ambience. Staff was friendly & the food was good. I had the fillet mignon steak witch was a bit over cooked ( I ask medium well) . Over all good experience
We've been here 3x already since they opened. The food & service are both fantastic! Special shout out to our waiter, Troy. He was absolutely perfect & so much fun too. Highly recommend the ribs & steaks. Food quality is 10/10 here. You won't be disappointed!
Many things went wrong. It started with my reservation. I called to make a reservation at 7:30pm on the same day to being told once I got there that my reservation was made for the following night. I never said it was for tomorrow. The front desk told us we had to wait 30+min since it was full. I looked inside & the restaurant was barely half full. After expressing my dissatisfaction,they offered a table at the bar section. The food itself was ok, not great but not bad either. We had fried calamari, caesar salad & fillet mignon. The calamari was good but very greasy & had a lot of batter. Some pieces were very small & tasted only like overused oil. The ceasar salad was a bit blend, lacking sauce & the bacon & croutons were very not crunchy. The fillet mignon was good but the plate lacked finesse. It looked like a poor deli quality dish. No sauce comes with the steak...... you have to pay extra for it. I mean come on, very dissatisfying to pay so much for a pile of fries, basic grilled veggies & no sauce. Finally the service was very slow. Not because the waiter was very busy but because he was just wasting so much time small talking & complaining himself about how management is not good. We asked ketchup for the fries & while clearly acknowledging he never brought it to our table. We also waited over 20 minutes just to pay for the meal. We saw the waiter talk with the girls at the front desk laughing for over 5min while we were there waiting for that eye contact for the final bill with empty plates. In all respect he was not a bad waiter but just wasn't focused. Over for 183$ for a meal for two it was just not worth it. If the food has better presentation & if the steak came with sauce, & if service was better it could get a 4 star but this was definitely a 2.5 to 3 star experience. _______________________ Update: I would like to mention that management was kind enough to offer their apologies & took measures to make our next visit better. I appreciate their efforts.
Baton Rouge always amazing one of my favorites steakhouse. But Angrignon's not offer special list like t-bone. One more surprise me is I did only order filet mignon, but they still give me whole plate. Btw Adrien's suggestion "double baked potato" worth a try. Thank you Jasmine!!!
