We went to Baton Rouge on Friday around 9:00 pm as a group of five, & it was a great experience. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, & we were seated without waiting
The food was really good everything came out fresh, well-prepared, & full of flavor. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals, which says a lot when you're a group with different tastes.
The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, & made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night without being overwhelming.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable time & would definitely go back. Great spot for a dinner with friends or family!

I went for a friends bday. Waited over 1 hour for food to come. After ordering, we asked our waitress for more water & it never came. Our garlic bread came nice & hot but our main meals came over an hour later & friends were barely warm. We had asked for ketchup & mayo & had to ask 3 people before getting it. As for our water....finally got a second glass after we were halfway through our meal. The table next to us,was about 6 inches away from us, they may as well have asked if they can join us. Not impressed.
On Monday we decided to go out for lunch. Most restaurants don't provide service on Mondays & are closed, so we had to choose from what was available. We ended up going to Baton Rouge, which is pretty much the only option on the island.
They had just opened, so everything felt fresh & new. The service was pleasant, & the restaurant itself looked nice. The food was good, nothing particularly special, but I also can't say anything negative about it.
Overall, a decent option when choices are limited.
Bâton Rouge St-Jean is absolutely outstanding. The staff is epic specially Charlie!!!, on point, & genuinely delivers top-shelf service from the moment you walk in. Everyone is professional, attentive, & makes you feel like a valued guest the entire time.
& the roast beef - wow. Easily some of the best I've had anywhere. In my opinion, this is the best place to eat roast beef in Montreal. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, tender, & served exactly the way it should be.
If you want amazing service, a great atmosphere, & unforgettable roast beef, Bâton Rouge St-Jean is the place to go. Highly recommended.
This restaurant shows as open online but when I got here it's completely closed because it's relocating with no specific date to when the new location will be open . Restaurant should at least turn their lights off to show they are closed & have the curtasy to update their hours online. Very disappointed in how they are managing this.
Having our last meal at the old location. Will have to admit I'll miss it's'Club' feel - with the exposed bri ck & dark red colors. Meal was fantastic & we fortunate to have one of the older waiters- TH - as our server. He was a perfect example of the old art of serving customers- polite, friendly, anticipatory to our needs & questions. I hope he makes the move to your new location. Either way, he made the experience special

Baton is one of the places that feels like home. The food is always delicious & consistent. The prices are reasonable. All of the reasons I return! Justin at the bar is phenomenal, & Baton Rouge is very fortunate to have him on staff as he is a big asset. He is one of those busy bodies who doesn't stop for one second . If hes not serving, hes cleaning.
John the owner keeps everything running efficiently & smoothly!
The staff is very friendly & always smiling.
I know the new location will be a big success with all of you at the wheel!

I've been a customer of Baton Rouge at DDO for long time . This time we invited my husband's brother & his wife for dinner .The order was obviousl , the ribs. At first, we received burned ribs, 😭, literally black. They exchange for another one very quickly. This time the ribs were cold inside. It looked like boiled meat with some ketchup on the top. That is not all. That evening we started to fell off a bit. At night my husband got so sick, he vomited 🤮 4 times & I had horrible headache & diarrhea. We realised we got food poisoning. Very disappointing experience. Nobody from my family will go back to this restaurant again. Beside the service was a nightmare. There is so many good restaurants around with good food & nice people to serve you. No reason to spend many on such as crappy food & nasty service.
I had the worst experience, & it was very expensive. The best part was the service from an older man at the bar. He was very friendly. However, our server was different. He greeted the white people & other white tables behind us with smiles & was very friendly. However, I don't know if it was because we were Asian, but she was extremely aggressive & rude. She didn't even smile. We hadn't asked for anything. We had just ordered food, & we were curious about it, asking about what came with it & what was included. She was very rude & blunt. This is not the kind of service you come to a restaurant this pricey for. If you don't like Asians, don't greet your server; just toss it to another server. I'll never go back. This place is so racist.

Très bonne nourriture & meilleur qu'à Terrebonne très bon service & belle approche avec nous tous on était une table de huit pour moi & une amie on fêter notre fête & puis nous avons droit a un super bon gâteau même si c'est pas votre fête ca serait bon de pouvoir en commander

The ambiance is very chill & the booths are very comfortable. The server Miranda was pleasant & helpful with recommendations. The club sandwich is good, I would try something different next time. My friend had the gnocchi Mac & cheese, she rates it a solid 9/10. Overall, portions are big, prices are decent, & service is what you want when dinning.
