The new location is beautiful,the food upper level,the service impeccable great experience.Me being a senior & the manager a junior who likes boum boum music,when it's too loud people are much louder & I cannot enjoy a conversation with my guests.This is the new generation I have to live with if I knew a time of the week when could enjoy a meal without such loud music I would run back.The problem is no the Baton Rouge but me being a senior.I wish them well.
I'm still fuming about the appalling service I received at this establishment. With two kids in tow, we waited for 30 minutes without anyone taking our order. When I politely requested better service, I was met with a shocking display of aggression. Someone screamed at me in front of my children & other customers, giving me an ultimatum: take it or leave it. The manager's behavior was utterly unprofessional, & we promptly left to find somewhere else to dine. I strongly advise against wasting your time & money here. Instead, choose a place that values its customers & treats them with respect.

We ordered the chicken tender platter, Baton Rouge burger platter & spinach dip. Wasn't really satisfied with the food (very bland) the spinach dip was gross. The burger was the best option & even that's putting it lightly
Ce midi, pour la 2e fois en quelques semaines, des cris, du bruit de vaisselle venant de la cuisine , assez fort pour interrompre notre conversation. Laitue défraîchie…..très décevant.
We visited Bâton Rouge for the first time at this location for a small birthday dinner & unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
We had a reservation for 7:00 p.m. but weren't seated until 7:35. Once seated, our waiter was friendly & attentive, which we appreciated.
However, the service & food quality quickly fell short. Our meals arrived before our drinks, which set the tone. The steak was tough, & the loaded baked potato was undercooked. More concerning, our childs burger was served raw & had to be sent back to the kitchen. The waiter was understanding & apologetic
. We felt bad for him because it was clearly out of his control.
Overall, it felt like the restaurant was overbooked & the kitchen was overwhelmed, which impacted both service & food quality. Not the kind of experience we expected…
A very nice spacious venue with great service 😇😇 We started with shrimp tempura that was super delicious & then moved onto the main meals quickly. I had the salad while the rest of the group had salmon & ribs & each bite was amazing ❤?❤? Our full compliments to the chefs for making such amazing food with huge portions made with so much attention & care 🙏🙏 The staff is also very amicable & always on their feet & make great conversations with everyone 😇😇 Cannot wait to come back to this 11/10 venue with family & friends & try other items in the menu ❤?❤? Also Go Habs Go 🏒 🏒
New location is nice looking but more like a sports bar
Noise level too much-can't have a conversation with your table mates
Bar area with the giant screen should be more enclosed to contain noise

A brand new restaurant with the waiting room the size of a house entrance... not sure who's idea that was.
You have people waiting outside, some of which just outright left. We should have left with them!
The service is extremely slow, waiters bringing someone else's order to our table & the food isn't good anymore.
~10 years ago, this place used to be a 5/5 any day of the week.
Not sure why it got worse, but regardless, it's no longer worth it.
The new version of Baton Rouge on boulevard St. Jean was not the experience I was hoping for or one that I had become used to.
Apart from the oddly bright lighting, the dining room decor is a blend of upscale dark colored factory & office grey setting.
I wanted to savour a tasty bit of steak & of course their well baked potato to enjoy alongside that amazing gravy they usually serve.
Well...the steak arrived with some very tired looking steamed vegies & a piece of beef that must have been wrestled away from the great Gretzky after a few periods of agile practice.
As I shifted my attention to the baked potato, I indulged into the often well toasted & tasty potato skin after finding the potato a bit overcooked with an aged flavor in the skin itself.
Maybe my taste buds were off but it will be a while before I return.
I am deeply deeply disappointed with the shrinkflation I experience tonight. I was genuinely shocked. I have been going to Baton Rouge since the franchise opened & they have never failed me on flavour & food quality. However, tonight the rack of ribs that showed up was significantly smaller than what they used to be & cost even more than before.
I sadly will not go back ever again for a small over priced small rack of ribs. The chain should be embarrassed to offer such a devalued meal for such a high cost.
Shame really what was a great meal will now leave you wanting more.
Good luck going forward many won't care less & keep going I will not return.
