Ouvert tous les soirs de la semaine, notre établissement émerveille les promeneurs du Vieux-Port et leur procure un second chez-soi. L'esprit du Barroco ne réside pas dans un simple élément, c'est plutôt une harmonie de plusieurs ingrédients, créant une atmosphère de bien-être pour le souper. Nous sommes fiers d'avoir personnellement sélectionné chacun des détails de notre restaurant, du décor à la mise en place.
Barroco, dans le Vieux-Montreal, est décrit comme un endroit chaleureux et intime où l'ambiance, le service attentif et la cuisine et les boissons de haute qualité laissent une impression durable. La carte mêle des plats français raffinés comme le bœuf braisé et le magret de canard, avec des cocktails mémorables et des desserts invitants, et beaucoup louent le cadre intérieur et le bar accueillant. Bien que les expériences soient majoritairement excellentes, certains avis signalent des portions modestes pour le prix, des plats parfois trop cuits et des options végétariennes limitées, et l'endroit peut sembler prisé ou coûteux. Dans l'ensemble, Barroco est perçu comme une perle mémorable qui donne envie de revenir.

Magnifique restaurant très chaleureux, service impeccable & ambiance exceptionnelle. Les plats sont délicieux. J'ai adoré le nougat glacé & le mocktail au pamplemousse! Superbe soirée à refaire!
Our server was so knowledgeable & fun! Even though the food is high end, the atmosphere wasn't stuffy or exclusive. Cocktails were on point & they have great music
What a wonderful slice of Old Town. The historic inside decor is gorgeous. The service is exquisite. & the food is heavenly. Try the duck breast. Or steak with mashed potatoes.

Barocco in Montreal is a total gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels elevated yet welcoming, with beautiful design & an energy that makes the whole experience feel special. The food is exceptional. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, & clearly made with high quality ingredients. You can tell real care goes into both presentation & taste.
The service is top tier. Attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, & genuinely warm. The staff makes you feel taken care of from start to finish, which elevates the entire evening.
Whether you are there for a date night, a celebration, or just an indulgent night out, Barocco delivers on every level. It is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Highly recommend.

I liked this place a lot! The food was good - & very rich in flavour. I wasn't impressed with the scallop dish, however (pictured); the scallops were tiny & the sauce was very salty. My server was great & I liked the vibe of the place.
The food was great. The service was very friendly & accommodating. Our server explained everything & took care of us. The restaurant size is a bit small & crowded so that can be improved. The atmosphere felt a bit chaotic, too dim lights. But overall great experience.
Both the food & service were beyond exceptional. The braised beef melts in your mouth, the halibut was cooked to perfection. The winter salad was exceptional. More importantly, our server, wish I recalled his name was informative & attentive! My wife & I could not give a higher recommendation. On our way out, a couple asked us if we enjoyed it & should they go try it! Our answer was YES

Great bar tender, classic cocktails & delicious in-house cocktails, that have flavour & proper knowledge. I'm coming back to have dinner here, food looks delicious.
Our final dinner on our trip did not disappoint! Barroco is a small, romantic little place. A petite menu with a little bit of everything. We enjoyed the homemade brioche with onion butter, roasted chicken & our favorites hand down was Braised Beef!
Barroco was phenomenal! Major kudos to Marc who runs their bar program & made fantastic cocktails. The beef tartare was the best we've ever had, hands down!
