Unfortunately seated to the restroom which my wife was very unhappy with. Was our anniversary dinner (15 years ) & was really underwhelmed.
First time in Montreal & Google Gemini highly suggested.
My wife was not pleased with her food except her salad.She had the duck meal which she described as somewhat dry/overcooked.
Would state that the braised beef was exceptional

We made a last minute reservation at the bar & weren't sure what to expect. It was fantastic! Service was excellent, drinks & food were incredible. We were able to take our time & weren't rushed. Just overall great experience & highly recommend
Travellers dining here for the first time. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Food was outstanding. Highly recommend the braised beef. Fork tender with celery root purée. I thought I'd gone to heaven. Heritage building with dim lighting but a lively atmosphere. Would come here again!

What a divine little restaurant. Had a lovely time having dinner at Barroco, the bar man was fantastic & so attentive. I had the leeks & scallops for entree, omgoodness - delicious! A must have. The flavours in this was something else. & the beef for main cooked to perfection again the flavours in the jus & puree was delicious. Highly recommend this place. Very nice selection of wines & cocktails aswell.
We randomly saw this gem while wandering the streets & instantly fell in love with the vibe from the outside! We ended up having one of the best meals we've had in Montreal, & that's saying a lot, given how much good food this city has! Everything was incredible, & the staff was so kind & welcoming. It is a unique & high quality place in the middle of Old Town. Highly recommend!
