Ouvert tous les soirs de la semaine, notre établissement émerveille les promeneurs du Vieux-Port et leur procure un second chez-soi. L'esprit du Barroco ne réside pas dans un simple élément, c'est plutôt une harmonie de plusieurs ingrédients, créant une atmosphère de bien-être pour le souper. Nous sommes fiers d'avoir personnellement sélectionné chacun des détails de notre restaurant, du décor à la mise en place.

The service is at Barroco is good, but our food was not worth what we paid. My steak was incredibly tough, which was not an issue with how it was cooked. It was not a good quality piece of beef. My wife & I arrived when they opened & were the first or second table served. Our food was room temperature & cold when it arrived. Overall, not a great experience.

Beautiful intimate restaurant in Old Montreal with character. Service was amazing. Espresso Martinis were really really good & the steak was perfect!

Their Paella is 11/10. Never change that dish. Had to take another one to go after our meal. Excellent service as well & a great vibe/atmosphere.

Food was good but not memorable. The waiter brought us two shooters in the beginning we didn't request & said it was because we were "appreciated customers" & then also brought us a dessert we didn't order at the end & at first we were overjoyed with the amazing service until the bill arrived & we were charged $11 for each shooter on top of the full priced dessert. I thought that was incredibly tacky & dishonest of them & would not go back for this reason.

This restaurant is an experience. The decor & atmosphere is gorgeous. The staff make you feel special & welcome. The food is up there as some of the best & I've been to many fine dining restos. GET THE SHORT RIB.

La nourriture & les cocktails sont très bons. Notre serveuse, Alexandra, était adorable, elle nous a très bien expliqué le menu & était très attentive à nos besoins. Elle nous a permis de passer une excellente soirée. Merci beaucoup Alexandra! -Les trois copines :)

From the moment we entered to the moment we left, we had an exceptional time. Subdued lighting for a romantic dinner, beautiful rustic decor with some comedic hints on the hanging dishes, quick & receptive service, food that made us take a moment to close our eyes & really enjoy the experience happening in our mouths (lol). We decided to try the Tasting Menu & our expectations were exceeded. Highly recommend!!!

La décoration du resto est très original, & le service est impeccable, accueillant, courtois. Par contre, c'est petit. J'ai pris les shortbeefribs c'était délicieux & sucrée. Un bon 8/10

It's been a tradition for me that ever since first going to Barroco in 2015, I go there every single time I'm Montréal. It never ever disappoints; one of my favorite restaurants in the whole world.

This is the number one restaurant in Montreal. Food is insane. Drinks are unique & their wine selection goes well with their menu. To top it off, the service is unmatched. My wife & I spend every special event there since the day their doors opened (minus Covid days) We are lucky as Montrealers to have such a quality restaurant.

Charming, cozy bistro with friendly, attentive service. My monkfish was superb, served with bacon cracklings. Hubby had the veal & a papery thin mille feuille of potatoes. Also excellent. Great selection of wines. Prices were not astronomical. The original edifice was an 150 year old stable. Old-timey lamps at every table give off a warm glow, a wild boars' head trophy & ancient stone walls make this place a keeper.

I am so disappointed on my last visit here😤. We had a great dinner but it took a turn when we asked for a basket of bread & they have no bread or fries unfortunately they said, BUT they have a homemade brioche that's on the menu to order if we'd like... Please look at that one slice of brioche that came on the plate for $18 🤯, are they out of they're mind It just ruined our night & we continued to dine & wine & went our way & not sure when I'll be back. What a shame

Went with a group & shared food so got to try a large number of dishes from the menu - everything was delicious. Service was on point & very friendly. You can't beat the decor of old Montreal.
