On a découvert le restaurant par hasard & nous n'avons pas été déçues! Le cadre est absolument magnifique & très bien entretenu, sans parler de la nourriture qui est qualitative & le service aussi. Nous reviendrons.

The decor & elegance are exquisite & very rich
The food was also excellent. Mushroom cream soup was10/10, The beef Wellington7/10, The lobster risotto 10/10. Congratulations to chef Kevin & chef Donald
The surface was excellent. Jonathan & Julian were very friendly & efficient
The only problem that should be corrected is the loud contemporary music. It should be lowered down in volume & replaced by light classical music to go with the classical deco

Really good but also lacking. I was disappointed, I think our server hated us lol.
I'm not sure I would come back, the food was very good but not sure it was worth the vibe. Was very excited to try it too!

Bar George is in the old Mt St Stephen club which has been converted into a hotel. The decor has been presented from it's time as the club & makes for a fantastic dinner setting. The food was delicious & service impeccable. Pricy but with the experience.

I've there for brunch & for dinner. Both times, the food & service were amazing. Highly recommend. Bonus: I received a free drink for my birthday.

I was really looking forward to this one as it's such a beautiful space, but it honestly let me down. I was seated at the bar & took quite a while to even be acknowledged while it wasn't very busy. Ordered a cocktail that was pretty basic & a burger. The burger was ok, nicely cooked - but the bun was very dry. Salad with it was nice, but you can get a better burger for half the price. No one came by to ask about the food or even if I wanted another drink. When time for staff turnover, they ask everyone to settle up which I always hate. That's not on the servers but rather on the restaurant's tip structure, but it's just not great practise as they were pressuring all the guests (the people beside me were talking about it as well after they agreed). Overall though the food was average at best & service really not great. Very nice space though!

This was the first meal we ate in Montreal which was probably a mistake because it's virtually downhill from here. First of all the former mansion is breath taking & over the top. It smells of rich mahogany! The menu & the food are equally breathtaking! The beef Wellington is not to be missed. My only slight knock is they didn't have enough servers working the dining room so the service was a little slow through no fault of the server. It's possible they are having staffing issues like almost every restaurant. Highly recommend!

We ordered the beef wellington, drinks & dessert. Everything was divine.
Kevin provided exceptional service & his wine pairing recommendations hit the mark.
Can't wait to return to this beautiful spot!

Had Sunday lunch. Great setting & food of high quality. Wished they had more gluten free options. The food arrived before we had our drinks so a little off on service.

Le full english breakfast à 34$ était très basique & ne venait pas avec des pommes de terre. Nous avons pris un side de « duck fat potatoes » à 6$ mais c'était tout simplement des cubes de pommes de terre congelés de type mccain . Pour 40$ par personne c'est très décevant.
Nous avons aussi pris un scone qui manquait de cuisson.
