Wow. Some of the best baking I've ever had. The rustic sourdough is nice & chewy. The kouign amman is the perfect blend of crisp outside flakiness, & inside custardy texture. I love the breakfast sandwich, which is served on sliced bread made from croissant dough. & their coffee is high quality & the seasonal drinks are amazingly creative (I had a latte with corn-infused milk!) I also like the big window looking into the prep area, where you can watch delicious things being made before your eyes. This place is pretty exceptional overall. I don't live in Montreal but I'll be making a detour to Aube whenever I can.

Accueil bienveillant & calme dans cette boulangerie hyper gourmande. Des croissants & chocolatines excellents… un endroit pour gourmands gourmets avec de très bons pains ! bravo !
Ma boulangerie préférée à Montréal. Tout est délicieux. Pour moi, la meilleure baguette de Montréal (si vous aimez les baguettes bien cuites), leur miche sont délicieuses également (celle au sesame est ma préférée). Les viennoiseries sont excellentes également, avec des feuilletages parfait pour les croissants & chocolatine.
L'accueil & le service sont toujours sympathiques, le personnel est discret & serviable, juste ce qu'il faut.
J'ai testé quelques fois les repas sur place pour le brunch, & c'était également excellent, aussi bien les sandwichs que les salades. A tester les yeux fermés!
My goodness what a great spot! My girlfriend got the latte noisette & we shared a chocolate croissant & both thing were delicious.
Unfortunately their payment system was down & we could not pay (they don't accept cash). We were travelling home the next day so couldn't come back. However being such a customer friendly business they just let us enjoy our food/drink for free.
Les croissants etaient bons. L'endroit est bizzarement « design » manque de travail sur l'esthétique de la place à mon avis. Pourquoi le commis me sert avec un « parfaiiiit » pour chacune de mes demandes? Courtoisie exagérer malaisante. Mouches qui rôdent autour lorsque j'essaie de manger tranquillement entre 2-3 coups de main pour la faire fuir. Bref je ne reviendrai pas
Un endroit cosy & calme, parfait pour travailler un moment en toute tranquillité. En fin de journée, il ne reste pas beaucoup de choix en pâtisseries, sûrement parce qu'elles sont bonnes ! J'ai testé le croissant, & il était délicieux. Une adresse agréable pour une petite pause gourmande !

Aube is a fabulous bakery! During a week-long visit to the city, I went to Aube almost every day & kept finding new wonders. They have excellent bread (the best baguettes & specialty loaves) & delicious pastries, ranging from crispy croissants to cinnamon rolls & cookies. All baked on the premises & fresh as can be. The prices are also very reasonable & the service is excellent. On my last day in Montreal I loaded up with a large supply of goodies before driving back to the U.S.
Nice bakery & coffee shop with great croissants & pastries options. Were only able to try Choco Noisette with Lavender coffee. It was amazing! Will be coming again to try other options 😊

They need to fix the signage. Great spot for bread & pastries. Made on site. Another place you should visit if you're in Montreal. Bought the sesame bread, kouignn Amman & croissants.
J'ai commandé la sandwich déjeuner qui est faite de pain/croissant, oeufs, cornichons. C'était exceptionellement bon. J'ai aussi pris un chausson au pommes & c'est le chausson le plus delicieux que jai essayé de ma vie. Nourriture de qualité & le talent des patissiers fait de cette place un must certain!
Ambiance chic, industrielle, chaleureuse & réussie. Les viennoiseries, avec leur formes raffinées & hétéroclites, sont littéralement de petites oeuvres d'art. Elles sont disposées avec soins, comme dans un musée, d'une manière élégante & invitante. Ça met vraiment l'eau à la bouche. Tabouère qu'ils savent ce qu'ils font... Hormis l'espace pour la commande, l'endroit était plutôt restreint (c'est une boulangerie après tout), & pas mal occupé par des clients travaillant sur leur ordinateur, donc peu de place pour s'asseoir & jaser, mais juste assez. Moi & ma copine venions pour déjeuner; nous avons pris le croissandwich déj chacun avec une viennoiserie (croissant choco-noisette, chausson aux pommes). C'était délicieux. Le croissandwich est sur un pain grillé croquant & moelleux & composé d'ingrédient frais & locaux. C'est gras, mais vraiment bon! J'ai pris une focaccia avant de quitter. Très bonne également. Nous y retournerons certainement.
OMG, this place is SO yummy!! Everything I had was delicious. The croissants were so flakey & well made. The staff was friendly & helpful & the mocha latte I had was perfect. Can't recommend this place enough! Also, the interior design skills that went into the space are incredible, it's beautiful inside!
