Dès que j'ai poussé la porte discrète du **Atwater Cocktail Club**, j'ai eu l'impression d'entrer dans un endroit secret, presque clandestin. Caché derrière **Foiegwa**, ce bar speakeasy dégage une ambiance feutrée avec ses banquettes en velours fuchsia, ses lumières tamisées & son grand miroir au plafond qui donne une impression d'espace. L'atmosphère est intimiste, un brin rétro, & on sent tout de suite que l'on est au bon endroit pour boire un cocktail de qualité.
J'ai commencé par un **Glitter Green**, un mélange parfaitement équilibré de tequila blanco, mezcal, concombre, lime & jalapeno avec une touche de Tajín. Rafraîchissant & légèrement épicé, il était aussi beau que bon. Mon ami a opté pour le **Mad Whale**, servi dans une tasse en forme de baleine, un cocktail plus doux & fruité, mais tout aussi original. Chaque verre est préparé avec une attention aux détails qui se sent à chaque gorgée.
Côté cuisine, on a commandé quelques bouchées du menu de **Foiegwa**, & je dois dire que les **cuisses de grenouilles à la persillade** étaient une vraie surprise : croustillantes, savoureuses, parfaitement assaisonnées. Idéal pour accompagner les cocktails & prolonger la soirée.
Ce qui m'a le plus marqué, c'est le **service impeccable**. L'équipe est souriante, passionnée & prend le temps de bien expliquer chaque cocktail. L'ambiance musicale, soigneusement choisie, ajoute une touche parfaite sans être trop envahissante.
Bref, si vous cherchez une **expérience cocktail immersive**, dans un cadre à la fois chic & décontracté, le **Atwater Cocktail Club** est une adresse incontournable à Montréal. J'y retournerai sans hésiter !
Hands down one of the best bar in Montreal. Lively atmosphere, friendly staff & food overall were excellent. We ordered beef tartare, oysters & truffles fries last night. The beef tartare was delicious on its on, there's no distinct sourness, & truffle fries perfectly complement the dish. I would repeat this establishments

We had a great stay as a group of five.
The waiter was nice, the cocktails were good. We enjoyed their ambiance & furniture accents.
* Special warning to avoid sitting in the corner close to the entrance door during winter, as your entire group will freeze the hell out of all of you 🙂
Went on a Saturday & waited in line for about 20 minutes outside. It was cold & Tony was giving out chicken soup to everyone in line. Once we got inside we were given a small complimentary cocktail while we waited to be seated. Fantastic service & oysters! Thank you!
Cool atmosphere & great drinks, considering the craftsmanship of the drinks they were relatively reasonable in price. Had to wait in a line to get in but it wasn't horribly long. My one concern is you have to be constantly ordering drinks even before you are finished the one in your hand or you will have the bill dropped in front of you. Kind of gave off almost strip clue vibes where you have to have at least one drink in front of you at all times. I understand the bar is popular & there is a line & they want to turn over customers, but they should be a little more laxed so the customers don't feel as much pressure to constantly be ordering
J'ai vraiment apprécié le service de Andy, ils nous as fait d'excellente recommandations & as mis du soleil dans notre soirée. Je recommande vraiment de petit speak easy/bar pour une petite soirée entre amis ou même un date. 10/10

Literally favorite bar / speakeasy in the entire world, I am never disappointed, food is great drinks are great ambiance is amazing everyone I bring is always amazed.
Awesome hidden speakeasy. Perfect place to have a good cocktail. The mixologist was excellent, suggesting many drinks with unique flavor. The food supplied by Foiegwa's kitchen was also delicious.
Threw up in the bathroom here once but played it off really cool & no one knew. At least that's what I tell myself. The people at the table next to us were not finishing their fries & it made me quite angry. Blew too many bubbles on them but that's what you get when you contribute to food waste. Just terrible stuff going on. Cocktails are expensive but dare I say worth it? Kind of depends on how you think about it.

Came on a FRIDAY night. Waiting line was quick, even if full. The atmosphere was amazing & waitress Marie-Eve gave an impeccable service. Fully recommend.

Overall I love this bar & love the food but the bouncer was very rude to my family & I upon arrival. I have just moved into the area so this was my second time visiting the bar. As the first time I visited there wasn't any line, I wasn't aware you had to wait in line. When we first arrived we were waiting behind just one couple. No one greeted us as the bouncer was stuck in conversation with someone else. A new group arrived after us & he walked past us to greet them. As he was walking past I stopped him to ask "excuse me, do we wait here in line for the restaurant?" Or something along these lines. To which he responded with something along the lines of "you can do whatever you want I can't control what you do, you can go in you can leave. But if you're here for the bar, this is the line". I was somewhat taken back as we felt lost since arriving & this was such a passive aggressive response for a simple question especially considering the prestige of the bar & my amazing experience the previous time. It didn't even answer my question, as I thought there may be a different line for dining guests or something. Afterward he walked past to properly greet the other group that arrived after us. I wondered why we weren't orientated or greeted upon arrival, as it seemed everyone else was & feeling lost in a new space & then being spoken to rudely when you ask for help wasn't nice. This really set the night off on a bad foot, we loved the food, drinks, service, everything else! The waitress inside was very friendly & helpful. Just this first moment was so disappointing. I live just around the corner & am not sure I'll be bringing anyone else here again
I love this little hidden (not so hidden) gem at the heart of Atwater. This place scream old school bar ambience with a touch of magic with the originality & beauty of they're drinks plus they all or most, tasted great in my opinion but for the food I was left a bit disappointed a bit for the size of them, so I recommend more going for drinks then anything else, but other then that nothing to say but positive thing 10/10.
Le Atwater Cocktail Club est toujours une institution dans une classe à part après toutes ces années à servir ses clients 7 jours sur 7, systématiquement jusqu'à 3h chaque matin, Une constance impressionnante quand on compare aux autres bars des environs qui finissent tous inévitablement par couper dans la qualité, les heures d'ouverture ou le service, même après quelques mois seulement d'existence. Une mention toute spéciale à la mixologiste qui, malgré son français en développement, a insisté pour ne pas passer à l'anglais. Mes amis américains de passage à Montréal pour pratiquer leur seconde langue ont fortement apprécié, & pour ma part je ne me suis pas senti comme un client de seconde classe (contrairement à mon expérience trop fréquente dans d'autres établissements branchés dont je passerai le nom sous silence mais qui ne reverrons pas notre argent). J'apprécie aussi que le traitement acoustique & musical du ACC n'encourage pas la clientèle à être excessivement bruyante. On s'entend parler, sans toutefois se croire dans un salon mortuaire. Bien joué.
Came for cocktails, service & atmosphere were on point! Had two cocktails, the mango drink didn't taste like mango at all, didn't care for it but my friend liked it so we swapped. Don't recall the other I had but I'd definitely return, it was a vibe for sure!
