To be honest, I was hoping the second time would be the charm, but we left feeling a bit underwhelmed by the cocktails we had. It was similar to how I felt when I first visited this speakeasy back in December 2019.
The interior was really fancy - so if for nothing else, you'll get a great photo from visiting this place. The bartender was friendly, but we didn't like any of the cocktails he recommended. Maybe we weren't very good at describing our flavor preferences. The service overall was great, & we even got some free shots for willing to switch seats for other customers.
After visiting a few other speakeasies in Montreal & Quebec City, I can say that this was definitely our least favorite stop.

If you like amazing bars with great staff, you have to visit this bar. Don't let the sketchy alleyway leading to the bar fool you... keep going to the door with'ACC' written diagonally. Inside is a bar with beautiful decor & friendly staff.
David & Jess made excellent drinks & Jess gave a ton of helpful suggestions for bars & restaurants in Montréal.
Came in for one drink, left with the best birthday memory ever. Staff were beyond sweet - got surprise shots, free drinks, & birthday love from the bartender. Absolutely unreal🥹🩷
The cocktail menu was creative & well-crafted. I tried the Mad whale & it was easily one of the best I've had-balanced, flavorful, & beautifully presented.

Atmosphere: 8.5/10
Located in Little Burgundy, this hidden cocktail spot offers a casual yet stylish vibe. The space features mirrored walls, some street-style art, & a well-stocked backbar that fits the energetic mood. Mixed crowd. Plenty of seating: couches, tables, bar stools. Music is good but leans loud-conversation is possible, but not easy during peak hours.
Drinks: 9/10
Recommendation: La Récolte
Menu is sleek & functional, organized by flavor profile with ingredients, ABV, & glass type clearly noted-great for navigating. Glassware is solid quality, garnishes are thoughtful, & overall presentation is on point. No coasters. Drinks are impressively balanced.
Special mention: Smoke Show - a fruity cocktail with an Instagram-worthy presentation & solid flavor to back it up.
Service: 8.5/10
Water served on arrival. Team is friendly & attentive. Prices are average for Montreal, but the bar felt lightly understaffed for its size-orders can take a while.
Creative cocktails that live up to the hype. Really cool space overall. Might be a little wait depending on group size & timing, but the staff won't play games & will do their best to get you in the door. Again- this play totally lives up to the hype.

This place is great from the moment you are greeted by the friendliest doorman into the coziest but very cool space til the farewell . Drinks are top notch .. the bartender made me a great recommendation because the drink I chose was not available & that drink was on point .
I'm from Seattle & I have spent the last month in Montreal. I'm so grateful that I found this place so early in my stay. In fact I'm enjoyed it so much & the staff was so friendly, I decided to come here for my American thanks giving since I had to spend it away from my friends. It is my last weekend in town, & I definitely had to come back to experience the vibes one last time.
I sampled many things from the food menu, & for me the cucumber salad & crepe Suzette were my favorites! The cocktails are always beautifully presented, & I sampled one or two from the menu. They were good, but I usually order classic cocktails off menu. This place delivers on those those in a special way, with an extensive bar & deep knowledge of mixology. The ice of high quality, the mint is fresh, & tiny details are well attended to, making it a lovely experience.
Went there yesterday for the first time with my GF. Great experience ! We were well greeted with a little complimentary cocktail to start the night off on the right foot & then we drank two different cocktails each. They were all excellent. We didn't try the food this time. Great place.
Had an amazing experience at Atwater Cocktail Club! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening. The greeting drinks were a delightful start - refreshing & flavorful. The cocktails were masterfully crafted, with a seamless blend of ingredients where I could taste all the distinct notes in each drink. Truly a spot for cocktail lovers. Can't wait to go back!
