Atwater Cocktail Club est décrit comme un speakeasy élégant et secret, avec un décor théâtral et glamour et une carte de cocktails inventifs qui impressionnent par les saveurs, la présentation et l'originalité. L'entrée cachée dans une ruelle ajoute à l'ambiance de lieu discret. Le personnel est régulièrement salué pour sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme, même si le service peut être lent et que les files peuvent être longues aux heures d'affluence. L'ambiance, la musique et le cadre sont mis en avant comme des raisons fortes de visiter, et beaucoup le décrivent comme une perle montréalienne et un endroit idéal pour un rendez-vous ou une soirée entre amis. Les prix sont parfois jugés élevés, mais l'expérience globale et le savoir-faire sont jugés à la hauteur. Dans l'ensemble, l'établissement offre une atmosphère et de la créativité qui en font une adresse incontournable pour les amateurs de cocktails.
Le bar est super sympa, très bon accueil. Les cocktails avec & sans alcool étaient délicieux. & je recommande les frites à l bechamelle au parmesan & truffes incroyable. Merci pour ce moment, à très vite :)

Excellent food & drinks
1.5 hr wait to get in while waiting in the smelly alleyway lowers the rating along with having wait again once we were inside (their intention was to get started on our drink order while waiting for a table inside but that process got mixed up too & led to some frustration)
The smokey environment could use some improvement because the smell became too strong towards the end when people kept ordering more & more of that drink (consider adding a strong ventilation system so we don't leave smelling like smoke)
Doorman/bouncer was lovely & seemed to be caring :)
Might go back on a less busy day/time to give this a second chance but not sure if it's worth it given all of the other great options this city offers

I love this place. You will exotic cocktails in an amazing atmosphere. The music & interior design are also pleasing.
I strongly recommend to try these cocktails: smoke show, 40 thieves & espresso martini.
Nous sommes allées en soirée un samedi. Petit line up, mais si on y va pour prendre un verre l'attente est moins longue.
Super choix de cocktails, vraiment bons.
Ambiance feutrée, bonne musique. Super service.

A heavy door with graffiti in a small alleyway leads to one of the best speakeasies I have been to. The staff is super nice. Their specialty drinks are super creative & come with detailed explanations on the menu. I recommend La Dame Nature & the Smoke Show. They also offer a selection of food to go with your drinks & the truffle fries are a must.
The atmosphere was great with a sudden switch to 90s & 2000s hip hop & r&b around 11pm which was perfect. 100% must go to.
When I first came in, the bouncer was awesome, the servers okay. It seemed to be extremely busy & we waited unacceptably long to get our drinks, almost a half hour. However we came back a second time when it wasn't as packed & it was a lot better. The mad whale is the best drink, delicous af & really fun cup. I had a much better time when it was less busy so they get a full 5 even though the first time wasn't so great. Choose the drinks wisely, I got the smoke show which was also really good but they are all unique so you won't be completely satisfied each time.

My favourite cocktail bar in Montréal! High level cocktails, served by a professional team. It’s one of my favourite places to bring local friends & out-of-town visitors alike
Amazing cocktail bar in Montreal, very responsive service, the cocktails were well described by the bartender & presentation was on point. Even though it was no reservation, we didn’t wait more than 15 minutes
Unexpected positive vibe & atmosphere. Almost like visiting the wizard of Oz. Great music & ambiance, nice small snack & nick nacks. Definitely great for a date or just a night out.
Tony, the bouncer, made our experience 10/10. The vibes were incredible, the drinks were alright but Tony made the experience 5 stars. From the minute we got to the front of the line up until we were seated at the bar he insured that we had the best experience possible. I hope this man gets a raise.
