Le salon Aspire AMEX est le seul salon commun de l’aérogare domestique de YUL à offrir un service de restauration sophistiqué à table. Vous pourrez y savourer des créations culinaires signées par des chefs locaux renommés ainsi que des cocktails signature élaborés par les bars à cocktails les plus distingués de Montréal.
Dans l’ensemble, Aspire AMEX Salon/Lounge est décrit comme un espace moderne et agréable, au cadre lumineux et propre, avec une ambiance calme et un personnel sympathique et efficace. La nourriture et les boissons obtiennent généralement de bons retours, avec un large choix de cocktails et des plats préparés à la demande qui restent en grande partie satisfaisants. Des points négatifs reviennent cependant régulièrement : l’absence de toilettes, une offre de nourriture limitée et des portions parfois petites, et surtout le système de commande à la carte via QR code qui oblige à commander un plat ou une boisson à la fois, ce qui peut rallonger les délais, surtout lorsque le lounge est occupé. Certains trouvent le service lent en période de pointe et regrettent l’absence de buffet, tandis que l’ambiance et le confort des sièges et des espaces demeurent appréciables et propices à la détente; le personnel est souvent cité pour son professionnalisme et son attention, et les vues sur l’aéroport ajoutent au cadre.
Horrible experience. The staff doesn't have any experience nor professionalism & the treatment towards me & my family was very poor. The line was very long even though there were many tables available inside. The food took almost an hour to arrive after ordering & it was cold & not very appetizing. There were also two dishes that never arrived even after waiting for more than an hour so we simply got up & left because we knew we weren't missing out much. After the time spent waiting for it & the staff indifference I wouldn't recommend, it wasn't worth it. There are plenty of other good waiting rooms in the area please don't go to this one. Manager Hamza wasnt very helpful & not professional at all.
Premiere visité au salon Aspire YUL & j'ai adoré l'expérience. C'est Isabelle qui m'a pris en charge & sa courtoisie, son amabilité , son professionnalisme impeccable ont rendu l'expérience à 5* . Merci Isabelle pour ce beau début de voyage !!!!

OK. This may be a contentious opinion given the recent reviews, but here goes.
The lounge is busy. Very busy. They are not only accommodating their own guests, but those from the AC lounge across the hall. Secondly, they are taking the overflow from the underwhelming AC Cafe that serves pre-packaged food & a limited offering of beer & wine (no spirits.)
So yes, there is a wait. If you can't get in quick enough for your liking, pay more for the premium AmEx, or fly more for higher status.
The lounge is well appointed, quiet, & clean. The staff are wonderful. The manager floating around the lounge accomplished dozens of small tasks & constantly checked in with guests to ensure they were comfortable. Kudos to her, I wish I got her name so I could publicly acknowledge her.
There are no restrooms; however, if you are comparing that against the AC cafe it's the same (no washroom,) & the Maple Leaf lounge restroom was usually so crowded / in such poor condition I would exit the lounge to use one of the terminal facilities anyway.
The food is fine. The dinner selections & breakfast options have a variety of plates for varied tastes. There are scads of drink options, including signature cocktails from local bars.
I suspect the majority of the complaints directed at this facility are coming from people that couldn't get in, had to wait to get in, or expected to be higher priority than the thousands of other travelers that have'status' flooding through here everyday.
It's great. The Google rating implies some of the clientele aren't.
It's nice to finally have a lounge on the domestic side in Montreal. The problem however lies with the food ordering system. I am usually a great client for lounges, I quickly grab a bite & leave, without even consuming alcohol. At this lounge unfortunately more than once I've ordered food & had to leave before even getting it, it simply takes too long! Perhaps having a small buffet on top of the QR code ordering system would be better.
Truly great experience. Got seated pretty quickly, ambience was great, food was amazing(One of the best lounges for food), service was great, virtual ordering pretty straightforward. 3 Star is very underrated.
Lounge is beautiful & well appointed. That being said the staff at the front desk are very dismissive & unfriendly. It's truly not worth the cost of a platinum card.
Despite AC Cafe not having washrooms, & always being overcrowded, at least their staff are friendly & apologetic about abysmal service.

Avoid if you have limited number of lounge passes on your account/card.
Stopped here on my way from Europe & had 5 hour stopover. I was asked to come back 3 hours before my flight & there was a wait-list. Luckily bar seats were available so I took it. Later a lady came & asked me to move to another seat to accommodate a group of 3 people even though more seats around were available. They forgot to give me cutlery with my order. No teas, just coffee. All orders are super small & don't have much of a choice. I was honestly prefer a buffet to this not to wait 15 mins per item as you can't order several items at once here.
