About

A Mano serves a curated selection of Italian culinary traditions focused on the preparation of handmade pastas and authentic hearth-baked pizzas. The menu features classic techniques where elasticity and texture define every strand of noodle, while the thin-crust pies prioritize high-quality flour and regional toppings for a balanced flavor profile. Diners encounter a space defined by the scent of woodsmoke and the visible craft of dough manipulation at the preparation station. Sauce profiles rely on concentrated tomato bases and fresh herbs that provide depth without unnecessary complexity. This establishment prioritizes consistent results through rigid adherence to traditional recipes that emphasize the integrity of raw ingredients. The environment functions as a functional tribute to Mediterranean kitchen culture where utility and taste intersect for a streamlined approach to regional Italian staples.

Review Summary

A Mano is widely recognized as a standout destination in the Mont Tremblant pedestrian village, frequently praised for its authentic, high-quality wood-fired pizzas and fresh, homemade pastas. Many diners highlight the warm, inviting atmosphere and the exceptional, professional service provided by the staff, who often go above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. While the majority of visitors leave highly satisfied with both the flavor and the consistent speed of the kitchen, some experiences vary, with occasional reports of small portion sizes, high pricing, inconsistent food temperatures, or a noisy environment. Despite mixed feedback on specific dishes or service lapses, the consensus remains that the restaurant offers one of the best Italian dining experiences in the area, making it a recurring favorite for many travelers.

Our food was brought to us cold. They brought fresh hotter but this meant one of us was delayed eating. Taste was just okay.

My husband & I had dinner at Amano in Mt. Tremblant, yesterday night. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere & the service was friendly throughout the evening.

My husband ordered the veal meatball spaghetti, which was fine. It was good, but not particularly memorable.

I ordered the carbonara, which unfortunately was disappointing. When it arrived, the pasta wasn't hot enough for the egg yolk on top to melt & mix into the dish properly. After tasting it, I also felt the pasta itself was undercooked. I ended up taking only two small bites & couldn't continue eating it.

For whatever reason, I didn't mention it to the server while my husband was in the middle of the meal & I simply lost my appetite. When we asked for the bill, the server noticed I hadn't eaten the dish & asked if I wanted it boxed. I explained that I hadn't liked it & that it seemed undercooked. She kindly offered to replace it, but by that point we had already spent our evening there & just wanted to leave, so I declined.

I'll admit I was a little surprised when the bill came & the dish was still fully charged, especially considering it had essentially not been eaten at all. We didn't make an issue of it & paid, but it did leave an impression for sure. We left feeling a bit disappointed & it certainly took away from what could have otherwise been a nice evening.

Just sharing our experience & hoping it's helpful feedback.

Come for the PIZZA. Fresh & hand made. Check out the yellow oven through the front window. The rating here seems off - but check all the recent reviews.

The service up front could be better but service in the back is very good. The hostess disappears for a while to check for a table - it would be helpful to tell people approximately how the wait is. We waited about 10 minutes. Not bad but we couldn't find out if there was much wait until the others in front were seated… the hostess was not at the podium much.

I was tired & not hungry but getting food for the kids & in the end I had some pizza & it was excellent. Now I want to come back for more. The pizzas come out fairly quick too!

I also had pizza down the street & wasn't a fan. It's ok & lots of cheese. Not the Italian style.

$21 for a cold pizza that was sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long. Waiter walked over with our pizza 90 seconds after we ordered it & absolutely insisted it just came out of the oven. Cold crust & congealed cheese. All the right ingredients, ruined by bad service.

Our group was left waiting for several minutes upon arrival without any acknowledgment from staff. When we were eventually greeted, the hostess was unpleasant & unwilling to accommodate our situation. We were told that our two-month-old baby could not remain in his stroller while sleeping because of a strict restaurant policy. This is an odd & disappointing policy to have given that the restaurant is located in the heart of the Mont-Tremblant village, a destination known for being family-friendly.

Incredible food, fresh pasta & pizza in wood oven. Very good & very fast service. The desserts were also very good, big enough to share. Honestly everything was delicious. My kids looooove it too & wanted to go back the next day.

We have eaten here the once on vacation the last 2 years as our'fancy diner'. We went back for year 3 & our table was crammed in between 2 large parties where every time the server went to those tables they were leaning on my chair particularly.. Our server took our drink orders & instantly asked for dinner orders & that was about the interaction we had with them.. no checking on our food, asking about toppings, desserts or topping of our bottle of wine we bought. I had to walk up front & ask the hostess to cash out or ask our server to cash us out. Upon the server finally bring the bill, I tried to enter a custom tip (10%) & they promptly pressed the X button & told me no less than 15% was accepted (quebec bill 72). 15% for what exactly? Pretty upset, we trusted this as our fancy dinner again this year for our vacation, will try the other numerous options in town. Seems like it has prioritized quick in & out, over an experience. Bummer. Prices for 2: $175~ (plus tip) CAD for a bottle of wine, meat balls & dinner.
