My husband & I had dinner at Amano in Mt. Tremblant, yesterday night. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere & the service was friendly throughout the evening.
My husband ordered the veal meatball spaghetti, which was fine. It was good, but not particularly memorable.
I ordered the carbonara, which unfortunately was disappointing. When it arrived, the pasta wasn't hot enough for the egg yolk on top to melt & mix into the dish properly. After tasting it, I also felt the pasta itself was undercooked. I ended up taking only two small bites & couldn't continue eating it.
For whatever reason, I didn't mention it to the server while my husband was in the middle of the meal & I simply lost my appetite. When we asked for the bill, the server noticed I hadn't eaten the dish & asked if I wanted it boxed. I explained that I hadn't liked it & that it seemed undercooked. She kindly offered to replace it, but by that point we had already spent our evening there & just wanted to leave, so I declined.
I'll admit I was a little surprised when the bill came & the dish was still fully charged, especially considering it had essentially not been eaten at all. We didn't make an issue of it & paid, but it did leave an impression for sure. We left feeling a bit disappointed & it certainly took away from what could have otherwise been a nice evening.
Just sharing our experience & hoping it's helpful feedback.
Incredible food, fresh pasta & pizza in wood oven. Very good & very fast service. The desserts were also very good, big enough to share. Honestly everything was delicious. My kids looooove it too & wanted to go back the next day.
Food was absolutely awesome, a little pricey, but that's what you get in a ski village.
Pizza dough was light, pasta was fresh. Would eat here again.
Meatballs were good. The pasta dish & pizza was okay but it was quite cold, especially the pizza. Service was awkward.
A great place for getting sweet break during the whole day skiing.
We ordered the carbonara pasta it was so great!
Highly recommend everyone to go & try it out!
The rating is VERY misleading! This is truly the best, authentic Italian food. Hands down THEE best pizza in Mont Tremblant!
Fresh pizza dough, pure ingredients, wood fired oven. Simply fantastic. The pasta was incredible, perfectly prepared & so very flavorful. The drinks were great & the desserts were crazy yummy!
Everything was so amazing!
Very disappointing experience.
We were a party of four, but after a long wait only three dishes were served. My order - the'Osso Bucco', one of the most expensive dish on the menu - was forgotten on the counter & arrived completely cold.
The pasta dishes were dry, with very little sauce, & NO grated cheese was offered. When I asked to return the cold dish, I saw the food being handled in a way that made me uncomfortable & concerned about hygiene, so I cancelled the order.
No apology was offered by either the server or the manager.
Considering the prices & the restaurant's reputation, we expected much better.
this restaurant does not live up to the price, the carbonara had the pasta stuck together & the taste was not worth 30 dollars whatsoever, after that my friend ordered a plate that costed 51 dollars & while everyone had their food his still didn't come it was at the kitchen ready but the waiter kept chit chatting with other tables & didn't bring out my friends plate, when my friend asked him about it he got it & it was ready for the past 5 minutes & as expected it was cold so my friend told the waiter & as the waiter talked to the chef, the chef touched my friends food barehand not believing it was cold, service was terrible but the waiter was somewhat good
⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐? Wonderful Italian Experience in the Heart of Tremblant!
A Mano is a standout Italian restaurant in Mont-Tremblant's pedestrian village that delivers a memorable dining experience. The moment you step in, you're welcomed by a warm, trattoria-style atmosphere & friendly service that makes you feel right at home. ?
The menu features quality, authentic Italian dishes - from fresh homemade pasta to their Neapolitan-style pizzas that are full of flavor & beautifully crafted. Whether you're enjoying antipasti at the bar, sipping on a perfectly paired Italian wine, or sharing a delicious pizza with friends or family, every bite reflects the passion & care put into the kitchen's offerings. ?
Service here is consistently attentive & welcoming, with staff who know the menu well & are happy to make recommendations. The colourful, inviting dining space & excellent location make it a great choice after a day of exploring Tremblant village or hitting the slopes. ?
Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Italian food with great ambiance & service in Mont-Tremblant! 🇮🇹🍕🍝
This is my third year in a row visiting Mont Tremblant, & every time I come, I always make a reservation here! The food is absolutely delicious-the pasta is amazing & the pizza is fresh & to die for.
Our server this evening, Yanis, was fantastic. I'm not sure why I never left a review before, but after three visits (& bringing different guests each time), I can confidently say it's always a hit. The prices are also very reasonable compared to other restaurants in the same range, but with far better food & service. Truly a must-visit!
After eating in other spots in M.T over our long weekend, this was our favourite!
Our server, Yanis, was very hospitable.
We ordered a margarita pizza to share, linguine Nero, gnocchi & penne vodka pasta. Everything was incredibly delicious.
They make their pastas, pizzas, sauces, in house. I will for sure come back to eat here next time I visit Mont Tremblant.
Great pasta & good service by Anna. Would be back for the pizza as they are great with olive oil!
I was very dissapointed by the pasta portion size. They offer gluten free pasta for 4$ added to the price of the dish, which I don't usually mind at all. I was excited by this option but I was soon pretty dissapointed by the size of the plate. I do not have a big appetite but I left the restaurant hungry. For the price of the plate, it would have never occured to me that this was a possibility. The food was nonetheless flavourful. My husband, who has no diet restrictions, ate a pizza & his dish was very good & the portion acceptable.
Unexpectedly delicious
We got the calamari, tender & accompanied with a tasty sauce. Lamb chops were just ok. For the mains we got the genovese braised beef pasta that was very delicious, tartuffo pizza a must try & the pizza burrata prosciutto which was good too
We had a late dinner & sat outside on the patio. It's a large restaurant with plenty of seating outside. Service was meh - seemed as if they needed another server because ours was busy with a lot of tables. Pizzas were delicious with crispy crust. Pasta was overcooked & a bit burned on the bottom.
The pizza here looks tremendous. But, we ordered pasta. Which was good, but not the same value as pizza. No bread, no side salad, just a plate of pasta. I added shrimp for $12 & received three shrimp. Our pasta order arrived in less than 5 minutes after we ordered it. That might be good in some situations, but it made the meal feel like fast casual dining, & the prices here are not fast casual.
I went off-season! But damn… the food it was with an italian name, but the taste it wasn't there at all. Pasta was saggy, not good taste… missed something! Way to expansive for what it is!!!!
But otherwise service was good! But food :
