We went back for year 3 & our table was crammed in between 2 large parties where every time the server went to those tables they were leaning on my chair particularly.. Our server took our drink orders & instantly asked for dinner orders & that was about the interaction we had with them.. no checking on our food, asking about toppings, desserts or topping of our bottle of wine we bought. I had to walk up front & ask the hostess to cash out or ask our server to cash us out. Upon the server finally bring the bill, I tried to enter a custom tip (10%) & they promptly pressed the X button & told me no less than 15% was accepted (quebec bill 72). 15% for what exactly? Pretty upset, we trusted this as our fancy dinner again this year for our vacation, will try the other numerous options in town. Seems like it has prioritized quick in & out, over an experience. Bummer. Prices for 2: $175~ (plus tip) CAD for a bottle of wine, meat balls & dinner.
The rating is VERY misleading! This is truly the best, authentic Italian food. Hands down THEE best pizza in Mont Tremblant!
Fresh pizza dough, pure ingredients, wood fired oven. Simply fantastic. The pasta was incredible, perfectly prepared & so very flavorful. The drinks were great & the desserts were crazy yummy!
Everything was so amazing!
We visited this amazing restaurant in the weekend & it was great. The moment we arrived, the service was amazing & so was their food. We had couple of non alcoholic drinks & their Neapolitan style pizza & everything was delicious. Their pizza margarita is to die for, definitely coming back here whenever we visit Mont Tremblant again.
Authentic pizza & pasta - coming from an italian. Arancini was succulent & drinks too. Amazing service as well! I really recommend. 5/5.
We stayed at Mont Tremblant for 3 days of skiing, & came to Amano for dinner 2/3 days because it was so damn good. The first night we walked in right at dinner time with a party of 6, & they were able too accommodate us almost right away. The server was so helpful & welcoming, our drinks were absolutely delicious, & the food came out very quickly. Not only that, but it was all delicious. The calamari was delicious, the pizzas were to die for. Don't waste your time & money on any other restaurant in the village! If you love good food & you love yourself, treat yourself to a dinner at Amano.
The restaurant looks great, we sat outside & had an amazing view under the sun. However, I was served with a glass of water with a piece of broken glass inside. I could easily sallow it & my throat will be cut. That's a safety hazard! Luckily I chewed it & realized it's not an ice cube but it's real glass. So I didn't end up sallow it. When I tried to figure out where it's coming from, I noticed the cup I was using has damaged from the top, so if I took a sip from the damaged part my lips might be cut as well. I notified my server & he brought his manger to apologize to me. Appreciate the gesture & they offered to take one item off for free out of the four items we ordered. Just a reminder for everyone, be careful while you're drinking water here. As for the food, it's a bit expensive for the quality & the quantity in my opinion.
During our recent visit to A Mano, we had a good dining experience, though the prices felt a bit high for the quality. We ordered the papardeli with Gorgonzola sauce & filet mignon, which was somewhat underwhelming. The Gorgonzola cheese in the sauce was almost non-existent, & the filet mignon was just a few slices, making the $42 price tag feel steep for the portion & quality. The dish lacked the indulgence expected at that price point. For an appetizer, we tried the Polpette di Vitello, which came with six pieces for $27. The quality was good, but again, the cost seemed high. On a brighter note, the lasagna we ordered was delicious & made up for some of the previous disappointment. The restaurant's location is fantastic, offering a great view that adds to the overall atmosphere. The service was also very good, though the food arrived slightly quicker than expected, making our time at the restaurant feel a bit rushed. One small downside was the soft drinks, which were not refillable & priced at $3.50 for a small cup. Overall, A Mano offers a decent experience, especially considering its prime location in a popular tourist area, but the high prices might not justify the quality for some diners.
The food was delicious! This was the only place where we found good vegetarian options in the village. Our server was very friendly & offered suggestions in selecting the drinks & food. Their pasta was incredibly delicious. The prices are a little on the higher side.
Really not impressed with the food & service at A Mano. We went here saturday night of the long weekend we had dinner reservations for 6 pm. We were planning to stay a while getting drinks & food for our friends bachelorette we were a group of 10 aka we are spending money... Everyone got drinks, pitchers & food so the table brought in enough money. The server Nicholas was very pushy in wanting us to order right away kept coming back & pestering us. My friend & myself got the fettuccini a la vodka add chicken. When I received my dish, I was wondering where the other half of the pasta was? for my pasta dish that was half a dish big didn't come with bread & one drink costed me 62$ with tip. The pasta was very bland, nothing special, the chicken was an extra 9$!!!! & didn't even come cut up inside the pasta dish i had to cut it & mix it myself. Then we had some girls still drinking their sangria & the pitchers were halfway done & he says i'm not trying to rush you guys but i have a table coming for 8. He rushed us out even after we paid he came & grabbed the glasses from our table literally making us feel rushed out. I would never go back there for the price & feeling rushed the whole time the atmosphere wasn't what we hoped for & the service sucked. Food wasn't anything special & overpriced.
"I was drawn in by the rain & decided to take a seat. As a solo traveler, I hoped this restaurant might offer a more relaxed service or perhaps it was because I was alone-the service seemed slow. Nevertheless, the food smelled fantastic, & the drink was excellent too. I understand reviews can be subjective, but it's important to consider all types of travelers' experiences. Give them a try-this was my own experience."
Went there with friends on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch. This place has good seats outside either side of the restaurant. You can sit here & enjoy the view of Mont Tremblant while having gourmet food. The staff was friendly & courteous, helped in deciding what to order. They can prepare drinks which are not mentioned in the menu, so don't forget to ask :)
the beet salad is overpriced & sad! The quatro formaggi pizza is okay & the drinks aren't great
We went twice while on vacation in Mont Tremblant! The service was great, best drinks we had while there & the food is excellent!! The vibe is exactly what we are looking for after having gone to several other places. Highly recommend!!
Overall, it was well run & good food. I went in around 6:30, it was busy but they took our name & gave us an accurate estimate on the waiting time, we didn't have to wait at the restaurant. We went back after the estimated 45 minutes wait. We ordered calamari & the Americana pizza for appetizer; risotto & fusili genovese for our mains. The pizza was the star of the dinner, it was tasty, great flavours & good crust. The service was good too, considering how busy they were. The food & drinks came at a good pace. The waiter came to our table a few times to fill our water & check on us. This is much better compared to previous day's disappointing service at La Forge.
Food was a a mix of bland & flavourful. I got the Bruschetta & Vodka Fettuccini. Bruschetta had lovely fresh tomatoes but was lacking any sort of flavour to the dish. The Fettuccini honestly just tasted like pasta water, however I had some bites of a few other dishes - Gnocchi & Pistachio pastas, they were delicious!! My partner ordered Carpaccio which was amazing, highly recommend. The desserts were also great, but the cheesecake crust almost had to be chiseled off.
The entire party we were dining with was French speaking with the exception of myself. I felt a very distinct shift in attitude/energy towards my service versus my counterparts, despite my best efforts at ordering as much in French as I could to hopefully lighten the mood. This was very disappointing & made me feel out of place, an inconvenience.
All in all we enjoyed the experience, drinks, atmosphere. I do recommend checking it out at least once!
