9 Tail Fox delivers a focused exploration of Korean culinary traditions through a menu defined by interactive tabletop BBQ and artisanal dumplings. Patrons engage with high-quality protein selections that are seared directly at the table to ensure precise texture and flavor development. The kitchen emphasizes bold seasoning profiles, utilizing fermented components and signature sauces to elevate the preparation of grilled meats. Beyond the grill, house-made dumplings feature thin, resilient skins encasing savory fillings that highlight traditional spice balances. The interior environment facilitates a communal dining approach where the heat of the cooking equipment remains the central focal point of the meal. This establishment prioritizes the authentic execution of classic recipes while maintaining a functional atmosphere centered on the technical skill required for proper Korean charcoal or gas-assisted grilling techniques.

Oh I really enjoyed my dinner!!! Raspberry tip oysters from PEI to start, seafood crudo with yummy sauces, mushroom dumplings crispy & tasty, & for dessert a delicious yuzu cheesecake. Really friendly staff & a cool place to experience Korean fusion cuisine.
Went on a Friday night. We had some exceptional good value dishes like the eggplant, the crudo & the fried chicken, all made with incredibly fresh ingredients! Best kimchi I ever had & the rice is the purple kind! Felt indulgent even though the food is really healthy when you think of it lol. I really enjoyed the watermelon cocktail tart, sweet & original. Great modern decor with plants everywhere & lots of light. The ambiance was on the loud side, but it was a Friday night. I am very happy that this new restaurant is so popular, they deserve it. That said, while our server was great service was slow, but I attribute that to the restaurant needing to up their wait staff game on those busy nights. Great discovery, will likely be back !
The team at 9 Tail Fox are passionate about their profession & it shows! The service was flawless & friendly & the food? It's creative Asian fusion & done extremely well. Our table of 4 ordered a number of dishes to share: oysters, burrata with kimchi, salmon tartare with ikura, eggplant, lamb, octopus, & crudo. & everything was delicious! We will definitely go back again to try the other half of the menu. Many thanks to Julian & Chanel for the fun dinner service & the perfect summer evening! It will definitely be a birthday to remember!
Fresh clean bright flavors. The oysters (raw or fried) are amazing. The crudo is so perfect. The team cares about what they do & it shows. One of the best places I've ever eaten in MTL.
Jamais déçu quand je vais y manger. Je prends du poisson ou des fruits de mer à chaque fois. Huîtres, crudo ou pieuvre. Après j'explore, la carte évolue régulièrement. Service rapide & courtois. Un peu dispendieux mais entièrement justifié.
We came here for dinner & ordered four dishes (one appetizer for $12, one dish for $17, one for $21, & the last for $28) along with a beer. We enjoyed the fried oyster mushroom, & the crudo was nice too. However, the octopus, despite being the most expensive dish, could have been better-it was missing some flavor. As soon as we sat down, our waitress strongly suggested that we order at least 6-8 dishes for three people (including one young child) since the dishes are meant to be shared. As I mentioned, we didn't order all the dishes within the $12-$14 range, but the waitress gave us a look with our order. I don't think it's good service to make customers feel uncomfortable like that. We don't need this treatment & will not come back.
