Best steak I've had in awhile hands down. Grilled to perfection with just a smidge of salt to bring out the flavor. Top it up with some black pepper and it's excellent. Truly the worst culinary experience of my life. You have the idea of tasting good sushi, they serve you a huge quantity of inhuman sushi and tell you that you'll have to pay $1 per sushi at the end. They have the nerve to come up with a bill for $40 extra because the sushi wasn't eaten in the end. They yell at us loudly, threatening to call the police. They finally call the police for $3.79. The police understand us and think their story makes no sense. I strongly advise against this place. One star is too much. You don't want to live this bad experience.

A mixed experience overall. We ordered the garlic naan, butter chicken, lamb nihari and saag paneer with rice. The sauces for the curries were all very good and left a really strong first impression. Unfortunately both the meat and paneer were incredibly tough and overcooked. The lamb was mostly bones and fat, the chicken was cut too thin and was chewy, while the paneer was almost like overdone tofu. It's a shame because the flavours were all there but costs were cut with the main ingredients and, at $24 for an entree, the portion sizes didn't make up for it either. Overpriced as well to make matters worse. The mains should have been no more than $18 like most the other Indian restaurants in Montreal. While not pictured, I also have to call out their naan as the worst I've ever had at any Indian restaurant. It was thin, burnt and had the texture of overcooked pizza dough rather than naan. Finally, as a positive note, the service was incredibly warm and friendly when we both arrived and left. However, all the other reviews are correct that you'll never get a refill of water or any attendance during your meal unless you go out of your way to flag someone down. Warm atmosphere and I hope they're able to improve as the basics are there.Voir plus

The real hidden gem in the heart of quartier latin of Montreal, tasty food comes in a very generous portion, charming yet authentic decoration, splendid Flamenco performance, amazing Sangria...you got all fabulous ingredients to bake an unforgettable evening.
