Great spot for some rice noodle rolls! We had BBQ pork, as well as shrimp & beef rice noodle rolls & they were both great! The fried dough stick, shrimp spring roll, sticky rice, & fried noodles were all very good. Congee was ok, but not the best from others we've had. Service was impeccable! We got greeted & seated upon arrival, though others walking in after us waited 5-10 minutes as the restaurant was full. All the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything, food arrived quickly even if the restaurant was full, they refilled water before our bottle was empty. The restaurant & washrooms were very clean. The only thing is the choice is limited for dim sum selections compared to other dim sum places.Voir plus

Yin Ji is a casual diner offering some simple Cantonese classics of congee & cheung fun, & a bit more.
The congee is well-seasoned with a smooth & almost creamy consistency. The cheung fun were silky & the seasoned soy sauce was lightly sweet without being overpowering.
The cheung fun have a great texture, but perhaps the price is a little steep for what they are. Cheung fun are typically such simple & casual dishes made with inexpensive ingredients. I almost have trouble justifying the 10$+ post-tax price for a plate, & that's in the mid-range of what they offer for cheung fun.
I also did not love the iceberg lettuce in the cheung fun & would prefer they be served without it. The lettuce is wilted & wet, & does not leave enough room for the silkiness of the cheung fun to shine.
Ordering can only be done online via the QR-code that is made available on every table. While we understand most people have smartphones & can access this link, unfortunately much of the Asian demographic in Brossard is of the elderly who are unlikely to have a smartphone. The staff was understanding enough of this concern & was able to provide us with a physical menu for our elder, but also warned us that the menu was outdated & the online menu should be referenced instead.
All in all, the food was good for what it is: simple, casual, filling, & hits the spot for those who are a little homesick for something traditional. Perhaps if you are coming to eat with elderly Chinese folk who may be frugal & a little judgemental, don't tell them how much you spent on their meal.Voir plus

I recently visited Yin Ji after hearing about their moving, wow I love their new renovation, The space is even more bright, modern, & welcoming, with a perfect balance of traditional charm & fresh design. It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable when you're out with family or loved ones.
The dim sum was absolutely delicious - everything was hot, fresh, & full of flavor. You can tell they use fresh ingredients & keep the flavors authentic.
What really stood out was the friendly & attentive service. The staff made us feel right at home & were happy to explain the menu & offer suggestions.
Highly recommend if you're craving good dim sum. Can't wait to go back!Voir plus

If you're craving dim sum at any time of day, this place is a must-visit! It's a rare gem that serves all-day dim sum, which makes it perfect for those dim sum cravings outside the usual dim sum eating times of morning to early afternoon. The staff is friendly & attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. The menu features all your classic dim sum favorites, including shumai, ha gow, rice noodle rolls, chicken feet, & more! Après plusieurs visites celle ce sera la dernière. Aujourd'hui réception des plats inégale. Augmentation & réduction des portions.
Oui un endroit sympathique pour les brunch cantonais mais cette fois c'était la fois de trop. Retard dans la livraison des plat , soit un délai entre 10 & 15 minutes entre chaque. Pas de remplissage d'eau. Un verre c'est tout.

The food tastes great, but the service made the meal really enjoyable! Our waitress had great attention to detail. She cleaned the booster seat before giving it to us, & let us know when serving our drinks to be careful since it's hot, or that the coffee tea doesn't have sugar in it yet.
