Portions were generous. We ordered the sashimi platter, takoyaki, assorted tempura, & unagi don. I initially wanted a draft beer, but realized that the focus here is more on sake & whiskey. One suggestion: it would be great if they offered traditional tempura sauce instead of spicy mayo-especially if they're aiming to present themselves as an authentic Japanese restaurant. They were also out of uni, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the takoyaki & unagi don were great. Service from the staff was attentive, & I really enjoyed the overall ambiance of the interior.
I had the wasabi octopus & the foie gras unadon. Portion was good. The octopus was cooked, not raw, which was honestly unexpected for the price charged. Tastes pretty good though. The unadon tasted alright, first spoonful was amazing, but then a bit heavy. The staff was quite busy. I took some time to get my orders in. Good vibes & decoration.
The rice in Gras rice bowl is not fresh. I can tell it was cooked long time ago.
J'y suis allée pour mon repas d'anniversaire. Très bonne cuisine, atmosphère décontractée, pas trop bruyante. J'ai beaucoup aimé.

I decided to stop by this place because it looked promising & I'm so happy I did! It's a cute tucked away sort of place that is unassuming from the outside but so cozy inside. The music was upbeat & poppy & the menu selection was fantastic. The fish is fresh & delicious. It was so good I messaged a friend about it right away. I highly recommend you try this place.

Plusieurs plats étaient trop sucrés. Le foie gras sur le sushi n'avait aucun goût, ça ne vaut pas la peine de prendre ce plat. On nous a oublié à un moment & il a fallu qu'on rappelle au serveur qu'il nous manquait toujours 2 plats...
Their foie gras salmon sushi is to die for!! :)) Nice staff, super fresh sushi, & cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

Le service n'y était pas. On nous a servi nos entrées en même temps que nos repas principaux. Pour deux des convives, elles ont reçu leur entrée APRÈS leur repas. Nous étions 7 à table & le serveur a laissé une seule bouteille d'eau sur la table. Nous avons dû demander une nouvelle bouteille à chaque fois... La bouffe était bonne mais je n'y retournerai pas.
Delicious food & gorgeous interior design. Our waiter seemed new & didn't have much to explain about the menu when we asked, but that's honestly no problem. I just wish the menu was more clearly written out.
