The sushi is incredibly fresh & flavorful, offering great value for the price. The atmosphere is very cozy & the staff is super helpful. This is my go-to for authentic Japanese food.
I was able to enjoy a wide variety of meats at a reasonable price, without any restrictions. The atmosphere was also very classy & clean.
I came back to this restaurant after a couple of years because I used to really like it, but I was quite disappointed this time. The portions are a lot smaller than before, yet the prices have gone up noticeably. On top of that, one of the servers seemed quite unfriendly, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. I don't think I'll be coming back again.
Food was good, & fresh (sushi & tartare). Service was ok (on Asian restaurant scale). Overall good cosy place for the price.
I was a regular customer for almost 4 years. I've seen the quality of the restaurant deteriorate severely over that period. The service is now a lot worse (today I came in after ordering online 40min prior & the food was nowhere near ready), the quality of the food is simply not as good, & the portions have become ridiculous for the price.
I am disappointed because this was my go-to sushi place for a long time, & I will find a new one after today.
Nothing special about this place. It was busy Friday night. Foie gras was subpar. Felt like just got out from the market can. Fish was so so not so fresh but not too bad. Overall mediocre to its best. For the price it costs. Cute date place but Probably not worth it.
One of the most beautiful menus I've ever seen. You just want to eat everything. Excellent food at a fair price.
We ordered quite a bit of food to share! Most of them were good.
Tempura was a bit over battered & the food was absolutely tasty!
The staff was good.
Ambience was good
Price was a bit pricey but the quality was good !
Cons :
Toilet can be cleaner than this , it's smell like pee everywhere.
There is annoying a few fruit flies while we were eating there.
I had the wasabi octopus & the foie gras unadon. Portion was good. The octopus was cooked, not raw, which was honestly unexpected for the price charged. Tastes pretty good though. The unadon tasted alright, first spoonful was amazing, but then a bit heavy. The staff was quite busy. I took some time to get my orders in. Good vibes & decoration.
I've been to a couple izakaya type restaurants in Montreal & this one is pretty good. The vibe is 10/10, the service is also really good. The only down side of this place was the prices are wayyy too off grid. But the location is amazing, so you could expect it.
Probably one of the best Japanese cuisine you can have. Hot soba & their tartare were delicious! Meal size/quality definitely is worth the price ! The price is actually very reasonable.
Really enjoyed our evening out with some friends. Lovely spot with lots of menu choices, service was excellent & food was delicious! Very reasonably priced too. Will be back for sure.
I am quite disappointed with this place. I ordered foie gras & grilled eel rice bowl but got another combination with foie gras & scallop...& the napkin is dirty with very obvious brown stains. The atmosphere is kind of oppressive not relaxing. The price is okay...but I guess you will have a better option in mtl with the same price.
The first place I recommend to everyone visiting or hungry in Montreal! Amazing staff, warm ambience & delicious food! Such good prices for incredible high-quality & generous dishes!
One thing is certain, in this restaurant you get a good quality-price. The bowls are still generous too in portions but if you eat a lot you may need an appetizer. I wouldn't say it's the best sushi I ate. The rice lacked flavor, the fishes are all the cheapest cuts, etc. However, for the price I paid, this is very good. In Montreal, I'm happy about this find. I really enjoyed the ambiance too & the service was good. Overall, a good ratio for quality & price. With slightly more generous portions.
Amazing place to discover! It looks like a nothing place from the outside but once you get it, it's something else! Cute atmosphere, food is amazing & beautifully presented. Staff is super nice. A bit on the pricey side but it's still worth discovering.
Absolutely brilliant.....delicious food, service was great, prices reasonable.
The food was great & the price was decent given what you order. It was busy so it took a while for the waiter to get to us. It also took a while to get our food.
