Ye Olde Orchard Pub & Grill est décrit comme un pub de quartier chaleureux avec une ambiance cosy et une clientèle locale, offrant une atmosphère conviviale et une bonne sélection de bières ainsi que des plats de pub traditionnels comme fish and chips, calamar, burgers et soupe, avec des portions généreuses et des desserts, des serveurs sympathiques et un service rapide à midi, ce qui donne le sentiment d'un endroit où l'on peut passer un bon moment en bonne compagnie. First time ordering from this establishment. i am a retired european chef & Monkland Orchard is EASILY - 5 STARS 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟. We ordered the Braised Beef & Fish & Chips thru UberEats, both were outstanding. The braised beef was hot, melt in mouth, no teeth needed tender &comes with a very nice gravy/sauce, mashed potatoes & seasonedveggies. The fish was perfectly deep fried, not too hard & not too soft, nice premium fish. We highly recommend Monkland Orchard without hesitation. Keep up the great work, it's definitely a hidden diamond in a city full of shiny gems.
I have never once had a bad experience here. The bartenders have always been friendly & honest. They have also made sure I got home safely by happily calling a cab for me, & also, when I was leaving alone very much in the drink, making sure I got in the cab alone as well.

I saw another google review praising the stout braised beef, & had to try it. If I wasn't in a public setting, I would have licked the dish clean; the beef was tender, the brown sauce was delicious, & the mash & veg were cooked well! I ordered an old fashioned to accompany my dinner, which tend to be hit or miss depending on the establishment. These folks hit the mark. Wonderful dinner & drinks. The atmosphere is casual & friendly, the staff are a pleasure to deal with, & I would encourage everyone considering a visit to take the plunge. I'll certainly be returning during my next stay in Montreal. Cheers!
One of the best spots for enjoying an Irish pub vibe. Food is delicious, service is always friendly, & of course, the drinks variety & quality, to the top!
The music is too loud! I went to many pubs in Ireland & the music isn't as loud. I wasn't able to hear half of what my friend was trying to yell at me across the table. Lower the volume guys! apart for that, the food, the crowd & the service is great. I really wish I didn't have tinnitus after tonight.

Everything we had, french onion soup, cheeseburger, fries, sweet potato fries, fish & chips, tartare sauce, everything was better than I've ever had before. The pub is huge, cute, cosy vibe, fireplace! The music is great. & Brian, the person serving, is great. So sweet, friendly & observant. Will go again whenever I'm in this area.
Today was my first day trying the food in this place. We went there to celebrate a friend's birthday after church so we were a big group (more than 20 people) so we occupied the whole inside section. We came last. I ordered fish & chips (it comes with fries & coleslaw). I replaced the fries with sweet potato fries (extra charge 4$) with a Guinness beer. The breaded haddock was good & the fries too. A friend of mine ordered the chicken sandwich wrap with soup & she said that the chicken was so good & juicy (well marinated). I loved the place with the great decorations. It is clean & the service was great & fast according to our number. Our waitress was fast & attentive. All in all, I liked my experience there & would love to go back again & try sth else.
Always a warm welcome. Entire staff is great, food is always hot & tasty. Love the rustic look. All these things make us come back every single time. 4 ppl, shared 1kg of hot wings, fried pickles, Their signature burger is just soooo good.
