Always such a fun pub where you immediately feel comfortable. Whether it's your first visit or your hundredth, the staff is warm & welcoming. Great music, the biggest game at any given time on screen, & a super fun clientele. Prices are fair, quality is great, & service is excellent.

The ultimate neighbourhood pub! Everyone is kind, hard-working, & so so caring. Locals or newbies, doesn't matter who you are, you are treated like a neighbour!
Cute & cozy spot in the Monkland village! From hockey nights, to pub quiz on Wednesdays, to great breakfast on the weekends, this place never disappoints! The staff here are all fantastic, & a special shoutout to Andrew for always putting a smile on my face before my coffee on Sunday mornings (not an easy thing to do!).
I've been coming here since my 18th birthday, the staff here are the most friendly you will find in our city, Aaron, Christopher, Matt, the waitresses & the kitchen staff all do an Impeccable job. I've left for months at a time & they still remember me🥲
If your not coming for the atmosphere they have trivia nights, music, & is an amazing spot to bring a friend.
I usually come solo, & it's still a great atmosphere for me to have a drink & some food. Thank you to all the bartenders & servers for the service, you have always gone above & beyond.
The food, the food. I cannot wait emphasize how good it is, on monkland you have many spots for great food but the chicken wings here, the poutine(if your ever around near St Patrick's day they have this great Guinness poutine)
I've made many memories here, it's my go to place & I've never had a bad experience here.

Love this place! Chris P is the quintessential server. His attention to detail, warm greetings, & exquisite memory are what keep us coming back for more! He makes every visit such a pleasure.
2026: great music. Solid gin & tonics. Decent steak & mushroom pie, mashed potatoes could have used salt. Great service.
2024: Friendly service. Dark & stormy was watered down but my other two cocktails were perfect. Great music.
Ye Olde Orchard is a Monkland Village staple for a reason. It's a classic Irish pub right in the heart of NDG with a great, easygoing vibe. It's always a reliable spot for a fun night out. Went on a Wednesday for trivia & hockey which made it a really lively atmosphere. Sat at the bar & had a burger & fries with a Guinness, & my boyfriend had the fish & chips. Great beer & solid pub food all around.
Service was friendly & welcoming, & it's the kind of place you can tell has lots of regulars. Just an easy, fun spot to hang out. We'll definitely be back 🍔🍻🏒

Endroit style pub. Excellent fish & chips, belle portion d'aiglefin bien doré & de frites croustillantes. Service souriant & rapide (midi). Musique décousue (folk, heavy métal…), toilettes à éviter par les claustrophobes 🤪.
