Jolie restaurant avec une terrasse à la Montréal. Excellent service avec des gens attentionnées. L'ambiance était celle de la terrasse alors bruyant & la prochaine fois j'irai à l'intérieur par contre le décors en soit était très bien & confortable. La nourriture était dispendieuse peut être pour rien. Ce que je veux dire est que le saumon, le thon, le hamachi & l'anguille sont des sushis plutôt génériques & pour le prix je crois que d'autres sushis seraient de mise. Des edamame à onze dollars avec un peu de sel serait plutôt décevant. J'ai eu autant avec épices pour la moitié du prix ailleurs.

Loved the food here & Gibran was so helpful. I'm pregnant & he helped me figure out what sushi I can eat & made sure all foods were safe. Friendly service, would return!

This was by far the worst restaurant experience I've ever had.

My husband & I were in Montreal for the week, staying at the Four Seasons. We understand that Yama is a high-end restaurant, & we have no issue paying a premium when the quality & experience justify it. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

We had dinner at Marcus the night before & really enjoyed it, so we decided to try Yama since it was nearby. We started with the nigiri omakase & sashimi omakase, but they were honestly underwhelming & not what we expected from a high-end sushi restaurant. We told ourselves that maybe it was just the sushi & that the main courses would be better. Unfortunately, they weren't. The cocktails were also disappointing.

For the main course, I ordered the salmon, which was not cooked properly, while my husband ordered the Prime New York Strip. We asked for it medium-well, but it came out overcooked. At these prices, I expect the food to be prepared properly.

The service was also disappointing. We were served by Nikola, & there was a lot of back & forth. The service was very slow, it took a long time for someone to come back to our table.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience from the food to the service. I would not recommend this restaurant, especially at these prices.

Absolutely amazing food & beautiful ambiance. Talia was an incredible, attentive, & highly accommodating server... highly recommend this spot. Sushi at a super high level, with a very solid wine list to support.

Very loud with corprate people & food was good very citrusy sushi & dumplings. Love the plant on the table. The sweet potato fries were nice too

Ordered the seafood platter & added the extra sushi that wasnt included,best decision i ever made. It was my favorite sushi i have ever tasted & the tuna maki was exquisite! Treat yourself to some of the best catch in town!
