Do not come here. You will get better service at a food court & better quality of food. Came in eve of Christmas eve, the restaurant did not seem busy. However, it was impossible to find seating. I waited over 30 minutes just to be acknowledged & was eventually seated at the bar.
The food quality was unacceptable. The fish dish was extremely salty & stringy. The foams on the plate were dried out. Even worse, breakfast ordered through the hotel came with berries that had visible white mold next to my eggs Benedict. This is a serious food safety issue.
Very disappointing experience. Would not return.
Great experience with breakfast. Always consistent. Love their waitstaff.
The food & vibe is great- the staff is incredibly unhelpful & seem to require further hospitality training. I was staying at the hotel & had three issues. First, I ordered breakfast & my order was never put in- I waited over 45 minutes before I was told this. I was offered a croissant for my trouble & never got my food. Second, we were asked to leave due to reservations despite staying at the hotel- there were plenty of open spots around us & we were there for 30 minutes having one drink. The third, I broke my ankle outside & was trying to get to the hospital. I had been putting in to go orders all week & when I tried to put in a to go order on the way to the hospital I was told that they don't offer to go orders- only eating in restaurant or room service. I explained I had been doing pick up all week & that I broke my ankle. The gentleman who answered my phone call told me there was no way I was doing pick up all week (I have receipts showing I did) but agreed they could'figure something out'. My husband went to pick up my order, & they said it was never put in for the second time, but we could get room service. I waited over an hour for two cold & stale bagels & was charged a room service fee still. It was over $75 for two bagels. We absolutely love staying at the Vogue but this restaurant makes us think twice about coming back. If you're coming just for dinner I'm sure it's fine, but if you're relying on Yama as an option during a hotel stay, I cannot recommend any less. I've never experienced such poor service.
We came from the hotel & the breakfast was absolutely amazing the service was a little
The breakfast is 5/5. Tried everything on the menu. Love how it is also dog friendly on patio.
We ate here twice. Both times for breakfast as it was attached to the hotel we stayed for a long weekend.
The food is good. I ordered the bagel & yogurt bowl on separate days. They weren't bad. My 8 year old daughter wasn't a fan of the oatmeal. She normally loves oatmeal, but didn't like this one because it was sweet. She's used to oatmeal without added flavours.
As someone who is allergic to eggs, their breakfast options mostly all contained eggs. Fortunately, they had side items to add to the non-egg options on the menu.
The prices are a bit on the high side for what you get. However, I'm guessing that's a way to eat at the credit you get if you are Hilton Honors Gold or Diamond.
The service was good, though. No complaints.
We went here twice, as I had a spend credit through the Hilton Honors program on my Amex Platinum card. Good: we had the Omakase sushi & the lemon dessert. Both were absolutely fantastic. The fish was fresh & melt in your mouth. The lemon dessert thing was recommended from the waitress who was very sweet & gave great service. Bad: this is very expensive, I wouldn't spend money here unless I had free spend through my credit card. The breakfast was about as good as a shopping mall cafeteria. The berries on the side of my eggs Benedict had white mold growing on them.
The eggs benedict (with salmon) was delicious & couldn't resist ordering more the succeeding mornings. However, their big breakfast was mediocre as the sausage wasn't the best. I would've given the food 5 stars if they also gave more fruits, as their portions were embarrassingly small with a slice of kiwi, a few raisins cut in half & half a strawberry. The service is top notch & deserves praise.
called YAMA breakfast room service at our stay at hotel. Food portion is small, & expensive! They charge $8 room service fee, & mandatory 18% tips even tho they didn't give any service! (if bringing food to room is service then it should be already counted in $8 room service fee.) $69 food ended up being charged for $110...
We went for breakfast as a credit was included in our stay at Vogue. While the breakfast was good (the French toast specifically was delicious), we personally wouldn't have chosen it if it wasn't included. There was what appeared to be 1 person serving multiple tables. Took quite some time to be acknowledged once sitting down. The restaurant was supposed to be closed at 11, & many tables were still seated close to than without having gotten their food yet, & some without even having ordered. Prices are kind of expensive for breakfast. & the restaurant was HOT! Felt like no AC.
NOTE: This is a two-for-one review...we visited Yama during a soft opening in mid April 2023 but they had not yet set up their Google Maps link at the time so I was unable (& eventually forgot) to write a review. We returned for New Year morning 2024 brunch & are now combining the two reviews together. First...the overall architectural style of Yama is modern, bright & sophisticated. You certainly sense you are going to enjoy some fine dining as you enter the restaurant. It is divided into multiple small sections that help convey a more intimate atmosphere (& prevent noise pollution) but there are a number of glass walls that help keep the restaurant airy. Overall, a definite positive in styling & design. DINNER: Visiting during a soft opening period in April 2023, we had a glorious & overwhelming meal. With a bottle of Antonio Park's sake at the ready, our dinner started with the Seasonal Salad (very good), the Toro Tiradito (very good) & a massive Seafood Platter...out of this world in volume & all excellent (see pictures for reference)..finishing off with a chocolate hazelnut mousse cake (delicious). A truly wonderful evening & great & friendly service. BREAKFAST: Several months later, on Jan 1, we visited for a morning breakfast which was understandably quiet (considering all the New Year's Eve revelry before). For this meal we had the Korean Short Rib Eggs Benedict (excellent...very tasty), the Banana Foster Waffle (very good), the English Breakfast (excellent) coupled with a side plate of fruits & a chocolatine. Every was great. Service was good too. Overall, a fun place to go & enjoy either an evening or a breakfast. Enjoy!
We are currently staying in The Vogue Hotel. We are thoroughly pleased to have a wonderful place for breakfast within the hotel to start our day off. Everyone in our party left full & more than pleased with their menu options. Highly recommend for a breakfast spot!
Had the contential breakfast with my husband who is a diamond member & also a hilton team member. The croissantt was cold not even room temperature. We had only one fruit plate betweeb the two us while single customers had the same fruit plate. Had to ask the waiter for side plates like come on fancy restaurant & we have to ask for things! Even the conficture " jams butter also just to assemble this breakfast of a fruit plate & some croissants that where baked day ahead & served straight from the fridge.
