WeDesi is a haven for vegetarian food lovers, offering an authentic taste of Indian cuisine. The menu boasts a wide range of flavourful dishes, from creamy paneer butter masala to the ever-popular dal makhani, all made with fresh ingredients & aromatic spices. The soft & buttery naan pair perfectly with rich curries, & their mixed vegetable biryani is a standout. The warm ambiance & attentive service complete the experience, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking delicious Indian dishes.

I loved the service & taste of this restaurant. To be honest this is the best Indian restaurant in Montreal. The taste is on point & the staff is very friendly, especially the guy with cap who makes shakes, loved his gesture. You should definitely try this restaurant if you are in Montreal

I had excellent experience about service, food quality, & taste. They have nice ambience. Service is fast. The staff is very cooperative. Also they have various types of Indian sweet delicacy. Those who have sweet tooth, must try this restaurant. This restaurant is available on Uber eats.

Update- we visited few times after & the food had improved. However, the dine in experience is not good at summer days, the inside temperature was around 30 C which is unsuitable for eating/enjoying spicy Indian food. The vel puri was good. veg kati roll & dosa were horrible, no spices, sauce . Other items like naan, kulcha, panner lacked flavor & taste. However, price is pretty good. I will not go back to this place.

The food is not terribly bad. Its just below average. Vada pav is not really the best. Its just some veggie patty in a bun. The ambience is good. However, the food is not really memorable at all. Its like someone is cooking the food just to do his/her job. Other indian restaurants in Montreal atleast have few best dishes which stand out. We Desi does not. Rabri falooda was another disaster that I ordered. I was given 3 spoons of falooda in a big glass cup. The cup was almost empty. It even looked horrible. This cost me $7.99. I was not happy at all. When I asked the cashier, why they served so little, she casually replied,' Sir, rabri is expensive thats why.' So I was thinking why even keep it on the menu? Do you think we cant afford more rabri? Why serve customers 3 spoons of dessert for $8? I could've a tub of chocolate ice cream for $5 which is atleast 20 times the quantity which you served me! I have had rabri falooda many times elsewhere but never EVER was I served this little. What enraged me even more was her casual reply. Atleast she could have apologised & corrected the mistake. But she refused to do so. I can go on & on but this is just not acceptable. If you have the freedom to decide whats on your menu, why put on such a shameful dish on the menu? Overall, this restaurant seems below average in food taste & quantity. Step 1 to improve the restaurant would be to replace all the chefs immediately. There are many customers who have cited in the reviews bad food taste & quality. We were excited to try Indian food in this restaurant & even drove 1 hr to reach here only to be disappointed.
