Wanted to get a coffee on new year's eve & this place was opened when most other shops were closed!! They had a huge selection of yummy baked good & their breads were so cheap!

Polish bakery. My go to is the prune filled "ponki" doughnut. Best when they are fresh. Wawel also offers, meats & sausages, pre-made sandwiches, hot food like pierogies, & coffees.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Wawel after a great game of tennis, & I must say, it's a hidden gem! The salad was hands down the best I've ever had - fresh, flavorful, & perfectly balanced. The bread was simply divine, crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. & don't even get me started on the coffee - rich, aromatic, & just the right pick-me-up! The warm, inviting atmosphere & the friendly staff made the experience even better. If you're looking for a place that serves incredible food with a personal touch, look no further. Highly recommend!

Polish food & music, staff is wonderful, kind & they prepare everything on the spot for you, it's a corner of Europe in Montréal where the Perogies are just the start of all the great things they offer. Iced coffee is amazing too ! Had their pastries the time I came before & they offer no taxes if you buy 6, they are great & they have plenty of options.

I was unable to take my coffee because of the rush hour, but after 2 hours I went back there & the guy who served me before apologized to me & I found this attitude very nice & humble. It was a very positive vibe. Definitely going back.
